Got this for part of our emergency kit. The water quality is good. The filter does exactly what the manufacturer claims. The functionality couldn't be better. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. I'm getting a few more for my FL family to keep in their hurricane kits. Getting fresh water is the highest priority when dealing with storms aftermath and this will really help. Specially in places where you can collect rain water.

A bit pricy, but functional.

I purchase this water filtration system to be used during an emergency. It is simple to use and would be used for family/community. The system is a couple of bucket's with a long lasting filter. The filter is advertised to last as long as 10 years and protects against 99.999% of bacteria and protozoa. Depending on the water, if the water is drawn from murky/dark areas, perhaps change the filter 5 years or less. If the water is clear/close to clean then 10 years may work. Maintaining is easy, just back flush the system with clean water. I believe this system is functional, saves space, and has a nice capacity to filter and hold water. An important feature is the system uses gravity and not electricity. If there is a power outage, water can be filtered.

J'ai beaucoup aimé la rapidité de la filtration de l'eau. Bien que l'eau soit initialement potable au camping, l'eau est d'une couleur douteuse brune. Mais après la filtration, l'eau était totalement clair. Mais en ayant pas de filtration au charbon, l'eau avait une goût de chlore. J'ai terminé la filtration de l'eau a boire avec un brita classique et le résultat était parfait. EXCELLENT ACHAT DE MON POINT DE VUE.

I have crappy well water. This makes it taste a whole lot better. It’s a simple yet effective design (I’m too lazy to DIY but it’s doable) and the filter is very reasonably priced on its own. Doesn’t take long to filter through. I like it, a lot. It ain’t pretty but I have no Joneses to keep up with.

The Uzima UZ-2 Camping/Drinking water filter system filters quickly; it is incredibly easy to use....water into the top (filtering) and within 15 minutes, water flows from the spigot. Negative issue: no instructions, no information on where to order replacement parts (spigot).Three days AFTER our Uzima Filter System arrived and was in use in our rental, we received a letter from our city, stating that the water from our service line must be tested. The service line has been identified as one having "material of unknown source." Yikes! We now use water to the house for showering/toilets/laundry. The Uzima Water Filter System, however, provides us with drinking/cooking water...happily collected from rain water. We shall continue to use our Uzima filter regardless of testing results.Will post info from water quality results when obtained.

This filtration system was taken to Bolivia on a mission trip! Two years prior, everyone in the Tripp had gotten sick from the water that they drank out of bottled water! With children in this group, they did not want to take the chance! Not one person got sick and they had plenty of filtered water for everyone in the camp! It was a God send product! I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs filtered water! That includes anyone that lives in the city! It filters out everything that is harmful! Highly recommend this product!!
