08-03-2026Good quality. Well made. Soft leather although not the ultra-soft, buttery type. Perfect size, but people's opinions may vary according to taste. Strong strap that will last for years and good length for cross-body. Understated design. Nothing flashy. Some might say it's slightly boring although it does come with some blingy things to hang on the zipper. A purse your mother would love. Easy, comfortable design. I always look for a purse that has an exterior open pocket on one side and a zippered pocket on the other. This checks those boxes.

08-03-2026I am 78 and now walk with a cane. It is too hard to manage carrying a purse and a cane so needed a crossbody handbag. I bought a bigger version of this at first and it was too deep, I could never easily find things in it. When I saw this one I thought it would be perfect and it is. I prefer a long wallet and it fits in this perfectly. I like the wide strap so it does not dig in my shoulder and this has that. I’m very happy with it although the color would not have been my choice as most my shoes are dark brown, beige, taupe or golden brown. This didn’t come in any of those colors so I had to settle for the reddish brown shade.

About Us
Since our founding, we’ve always been about more than bags. Each style captures our love of hand-crafted, textural designs rooted in both traditional and reinvented techniques. In 1989 childhood friends Mark Talucci and Todd Elliott set out to travel the world, on a break from their mundane corporate careers and a mission to find something more meaningful. Between Bali and their hometown of San Francisco, a vision was formed to bring that spirit and craftsmanship home with them by way of a simple natural rattan and leather bag fashioned out of an everyday Balinese sleeping mat. It was a uniquely casual style that broke through in an era of buttoned-up business casual. Mark and Todd saw it as an invitation to walk your own path—a more easygoing one that strayed from convention. And a new beginning for laid-back style. We still do things a little differently, that’ll always be our style. we’ve remained true to craftsmanship, texture that stitches together our past and present.
