08-03-2026the eyelet is not brass but a brass coated steel. once the coating is penetrated, they start to rust. depending on how you have them attached to you line it can be a problem. I tied directly to the eye using the line and found that the rust saws through the line and you could be kissing the sinker and maybe a lure goodbye. I had to tie a snap swivel to the line and used the snap to hold the sinker to make it last.

08-03-2026I covet these sinkers. I can't find any like them at any of my bait shops, or wally world etc and I really like these versus the pyramid kind or the old school bullet sinkers. The 4 oz work perfect in my local river and I catch some monster catfish on these. I don't get hung up often at all on the bottom with these.

08-03-2026I like them a lot. I used it to catch 8 large channel catfish one day. Didn't lose any lures or weight. They are good quality and good bang for your dollar. It comes in a small container that closes well. Very handy to have in your tackle box.
