The fabric and zippers are high quality yet the bag os still lightweight<5 lbs. The bag is structured sufficiently to support packing and proper balance. I thought I would use up all the volume, but no, this bag holds a lot! All I had to do was zip up the lower portion and voila the bag compressed to match my load. I didn't even have to remove the contents because once again the bag has good structure on its own without much sagging. The wheels appear well attached, the bag rolls easily, and the handle on the underside with the wheels will be invaluable for lifting and handling. I packed 50 lbs without using up the third level. It's a dream bag for moving heavy household items, packing bulky linens, computers or appliances, or even as a weekend travel bag. It's nearly as good as my hardcase oversize but at less than half the price and also doubles as a carry-on or weekend excursion bag which makes for a great value! It won't replace a hard case in terms of maneuverability and protection, but it complements your luggage repertoire nicely!
I've only used the luggage on one trip of four plane flights, but it seems to be a durable fabric that is similar to a thick duffel bag. It's really easy to roll and even when fully loaded it only tipped if I yanked it too hard when I started walking. I rolled it over thresholds and up and down curb cuts without problems. The bags come with over the shoulder straps and I used those as a handle for pulling. It holds A LOT. Like a Mary Poppins' kind of bag. I got clothes for 10 days, 4 pairs of shoes, 29 books, a sales banner, 20 pieces of PVC pipe to make a banner display, 6 small folded up cardboard boxes, a 6 ft tablecloth, and two dozen other miscellaneous things in it. It weighed 48 lb when I was done packing. What to know - it has little internal structure. If you don't completely fill it to the first or second zipped level it is just like a giant duffle bag, and everything inside will roll around when it's tossed about by baggage handlers. There's no internal way to secure things in place like there is in a suitcase that might have straps inside. In addition, once you put something in the bottom, you are not going to be able to get that thing out of the bottom until you empty the entire suitcase. If you don't intend to unpack when you arrive at your destination, this may not be the right luggage. And a couple additional thoughts. I like it enough that I definitely want to keep it. I think I may purchase some stiff plastic mats, like the kind that go under office chairs on wood floors, and cut them to be the size of all the sides, and then use the kind of velcro tape that has a sticky back to secure them in place. Then I can remove the panels when I'm ready to collapse the bag for storage. This will give a little bit more structure when I'm loading the bag and a little bit more protection on a trip. And if it's not full enough when I'm done packing, I'm going to grab a couple pillows to put on the top to fill up the space because who doesn't like their own pillows when they're on vacation anyway.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stylish, Spacious, and Super Convenient!I recently purchased the Hanke expandable suitcase with wheels, and I’m really impressed. The design is sleek and modern, which makes it stand out from typical luggage. The wheels glide smoothly, making airport navigation effortless—even when fully packed. What I love most is the expandable feature. It gave me extra room when I needed it without making the suitcase bulky when not expanded. The interior compartments are thoughtfully designed to keep everything organized, and the quality of materials feels durable and sturdy. If you’re looking for a reliable, stylish suitcase that can adjust to your packing needs, this is a great choice. It’s definitely made my travels easier and less stressful!
I've been using this Suitcase for 4 months now. I flew from the US to the UK with it, and then travelled around the UK as a house sitter. There are definitely things I love about it but there are also things that annoy me intensely.PROS:- I love how adjustable it is. The option to change the suitcase's dimensions depending on how much you are carrying is very useful, especially if you find that certain trips need less or more contents.- It can hold A LOT.- It's very sturdy and durable. As I said, I have used it constantly, moving from destination to destination and it's still in one piece.CONS:- The spinner wheels are not really the best option for this style of suitcase. As long as you are on a flat surface, say, at the airport or train station, it runs beautifully. But as soon as you find yourself on uneven pavements it's a bit of a nightmare. It tries to change direction constantly, and ends up feeling like walking a willful dog, rather than pulling a suitcase. It can be exhausting if you are taking a mile-long walk to your destination.- You really need to pack strategically because anything that sits at the bottom of the bag can only be reached by emptying it.So, in short, if you are simply travelling from airport to airport and then to a single destination, this is an excellent choice. But if you will be dragging it across miles of sidewalk, maybe pick again. It will eventually piss you off.
Strong and resistent. It did the job!
I was very happy that I went with this luggage bag. The expandable feature was so convenient. It fits as a carry-on, and when I get to the destination, I just expand it and fit the other carry inside it, two becomes one. on my one-mth trip to Japan, I was able to get up and down the subway stairs with this soft luggage bag, no issue. Wheels were great! No issue! This isn't considered an oversize luggage on the bullet train. Wherever we go, once it seems too big, just shrink it [collapse] (take out some stuff), and stuff it back in after. Very durable. The zippers were very well made. I wish we bought two of these to our trip.
as good as promised
Does the job, only it's very difficult to maneuver on any surface that's not perfectly flat and smooth. It is convenient for travel because you travel to your destination with the bag either completely collapsed or at the minimum size. When you return, you can expand it to fit all the stuff you bought on your trip. That part works well. The drawback is that it's not stiff enough when it's full expanded and the wheels are too small for rolling it on the streets and roads outside of the airport or hotel. So when it's fully expanded and loaded is awkward to handle.
Me gustó, cumple mis necesidades y buen material
I'm about to order another one of the 4 wheeled black upgraded version. I have used one of these many times over the last 2 i/2 years. We have a home in Crete and go back and forth, we often only use it on the flight out and I pack it in my hand luggage bag on the way back. I've found luggage straps round it get it really compact. We often come back Easy jet and I can JUST get it in my Easyjet underseat cabin bag, [ one of the foldable ones you can also get from Amazon]. So approximation of use so far is around 12-15 flights. I've had expensive hardshells not last that long. Zips, wheels, stitching and straps are all still good. It has been filled to 32kg several times, and nearly always 23-26kg per trip. It is a fantastic and sturdy item of luggage. Really pleased with it. Yes, it can be unstable IF you don't pack it well, but that is a fair price to pay for it's convenience.
