Hello everyone, for those of you that has read my reviews in the past, my reviews tend to be negative but bluntly honest. However, I realized that good ones are just as important, and I require high standards when purchasing a product. Let me say that this remote impressed me. That's not easy! I took it out of the package, read the instructions(, took 30 seconds), pointed it at my LG Q thin 75 inch, which, btw, I bought here and is an amazing TV, love it, but you point and press 1 button on the remote and the TV instantly recognized it. There is just one thing though, the company is clever in that they take the opportunity to lead you to a product page. Can't blame them for that however, it causes you to aim and point the button twice and they should tell customers that because you get a error message the first time, because the sellers app needs to be uploaded and updated, but I repeated it and it worked and uploaded perfectly. I did notice that this remote is not working on Roku. LGs TVs allows a universal remote function in that the TV remote can navigate other 3rd party apps. While the original LG remote can do this this remote cannot; its a function that needs correcting. One last thing, I would like a remote that has a backlit. Its very annoying to use a detailed remote in the dark, frustrating actually and no one has had the foresight to add this simple function.. PEOPLE NEED BACKLIGHTS ON THEIR REMOTES! , we understand it takes extra battery power, then you should add a remote that can be recharged. But otherwise, this is a superior product. I highly recommend its purchase!!

I bought this remote because of advice from a YouTube video. After I bought a new Samsung TV, I watched videos on how to use it and its capabilities.The host recommended this remote control because it is easier to understand and larger than the original. He’s right!In my pictures, I put this remote between my Dish remote and the TVs original. This shows the relative size difference.I’ve only had the remote for about 30 hours and the TV for about 60 hours. I’ve already given up on the original “smart”, solar powered, too small for my hand, original Samsung remote. That’s only a microphone for me to use for the TVs voice control or search engine that I’ll probably never use.If you have, or if you’re looking to buy a less than 4 year old Samsung smart TV, I recommend you get this remote too.No programming needed, just insert two AAA batteries and it’s ready.Edit, 13 months later: I’m needing to replace this remote because my now 7 month old puppy has finally destroyed it.She has also destroyed the original remote, so I’ve ordered two more of these. It’d be a good idea, because of the low price, to get two of these and keep one in a safe place your dog won’t find. Especially if you have a puppy.This remote did work fine until she got her teeth into the buttons. She had already scratched it, but it was still working.I just received the new remotes and they both work perfectly for me. I put one back into the bubble wrap and I’m going to hide it from her. It’s just an insurance thing so I’m never without a remote for this tv again. If or when she destroys the one I use, I’ll use the other and buy another insurance policy one. I use about seven different remotes for my different devices. Some are too outdated to replace with new ones. Those remotes stay hidden.I don’t like the idea of one remote control for everything or more than one device. I like to use each device’s original remote. That’s until I bought my Samsung tv last year. I couldn’t stand the original solar powered remote it came with.I only used it when I had to. I might be old fashioned but I don’t like voice control for searching. I don’t miss that at all.Buy this remote control for your 2019-2024 Samsung tv. It’s practically identical to the ones offered before the solar powered one came along. Great price for a good remote. I only wish it was built with stronger materials and was more puppy proof.Edit 2: Just 2 days after getting the new ones, she chewed buttons out of the one I was using. I can’t find it and now I’m going to have to use the insurance one and buy more insurance. It’s not the remote’s fault that my new puppy likes the taste of this thing and has new sharp teeth. I bought two of them again today so I don’t lose advantage of the current 34% discounted price. I’m more worried about my dog chewing on the batteries than having to buy another replacement. The first time I bought this, I had a dog that was 13 years old with no teeth. It never occurred to me that my next dog would be destroying my tv remote control. This is even more evidence of the necessity to get more than one of these remotes if you have a new dog or a puppy that doesn’t know any better. I’m just praying that she didn’t get into the batteries of the one I can’t find.

The on/off button keeps sinking into the body of the remote. The other buttons don’t feel too good as well

I purchased this TV remote from Amazon for Rs. 2,000 on 3rd August 2023, and now I am extremely disappointed. The battery compartment is corroded and damaged, rendering the remote completely unusable even though it's only not even a year old. It’s clear that no proper quality check was done. I’ve attached a photo to show the extent of the damage. This experience has been very frustrating, and I am now seeking a refund or replacement. I would not recommend this product based on my experience

Bought three Samsung televisions for the house. The two smaller TVs have a very complicated remote. I wanted to replace the remote in the master bedroom with the remote that was easier like the huge TV in the den. I read the reviews and exactly as they stated you put the batteries in, you point it to the television and it starts at the first touch. I couldn’t be happier. Now I don’t have to keep turning the light on to figure out how to use the remote.

Knock off, but not quite the same quality. However, price is good and is item is functional.

I lost my remote in July of this year and I have not been able to find a similar Samsung remote replacement and this happen to work perfectly. I was worried about it working but I have the Samsung - 65" Class DU6900 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) and this remote work perfect it actually comes with a second pair. I am so excited now I have two replacements and there’s no set up or program as soon as you install the batteries you can begin to use it. I would recommend having the TV on and then apply the batteries in the remote. Thanks, Amazon. !!!

We have the LG UHD series as well as their OLED series TVs. The "magic remote" for the OLED does not totally work with the UHD series so I ordered this unit. It is a OEM remote and worked perfectly. To pair the remote with the TV I just put in batteries (2-AAA) and pressed the center "OK" button (TV was on already) and the remote paired auto-magically. This is an exact replacement for the original remote that came with the TV. It works perfectly with the UHD series TV. We did not lose the remote, my wife and I just didn't want to fight over the remote, so now we both have one for our side of the bed (lol). This price was decent and less than buying direct form LG's website.
