This Cole Haan Women's Outerwear Coats/Jackets is a slick wool flared trench coat
This jacket was exactly what I was looking for so I can wear on a business trip. It is a great Bordeaux color and isn't too bright. It is thick and warm and fits me perfect. I bought a Med. I am 5'5" 140lbs and average build. The belt is super long and weird though. It practically doubles over itself. I have no idea what to do with it. Love the jacket though!
Excelente calidad, precioso.
I am so happy that I purchased this coat I was not sure if I should get a size 10 or a 12 but after checking the sizing chart I was able to see the size I needed I’m so happy that I purchased a size 10 and it looks amazing it’s not heavy at all and the price was incredible I have been looking for many coats to purchase and they were extremely expensive but they weren’t coats that when I saw it I was like I’ve got to purchase it so glad I went on Amazon and got the Cole Haan coat so happy I love Amazon
I absolutely love this coat! It is warm. My goodness I just had to take it off when trying to take pictures. 1) Yes it does have pockets. Open them with fingers, don’t cut the outside. Little desiccation packets are in each pocket. 2) It is true to size. I normally wear between a 2-4 coat and this fits perfectly I’m a 6ft former WNBA athlete with long legs and arms and the sleeves are still doable. Plus I can layer.2) It’s LONG I see why shorter women are struggling. I wear a 38 inseam and it comes to my knees.3) It is heavy but looks expensive. The belt. It’s kind of long. I may replace it with my other woof coat as seen in some pictures.I’m in love with it! I would love it in wine red too!!!!
I love this coat. It's warm, it's beautiful, flattering and stylish. I originally ordered a size 4 and a size 6 not knowing which would fit me (I'm busty and hippy), but the 4 fit great with extra room for sweaters or layering clothes underneath. If I had any complaints it's the following:It seems to attract all the fuzz in a two room radius, so I throw mine in the dryer on no or low heat and tumble with a dryer sheet. The belt, while extra long for anyone's use, is a buckle style and I would prefer a tie belt (which is what I do even with this one). I think if used buckle style, the excess would be way too excess and look a little silly. But that's my two cents. It comes to about mid-calf on me so perfect for those freezing blustery days. I'm 5'2" and around 124 lbs.
The product is really nice and warm
I purchased this coat in the Bordeaux color in my regular size 8. It fits perfectly on my body type. As other reviews have stated, the color is darker than what is shown on the picture. It is more of a deep wine color. However I truly adore the darker color. It’s also worth mentioning that other reviews stated the pockets are sewn shut, but a lot of jackets and coats pockets are sewn shut to preserve the shape during shipping. It was very easy to remove the stitches. So yes there are actual functional pockets on this coat. I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality is great especially for the price.
Great quality and a perfect fit. The only thing I didn’t like is the extra long belt.
I wanted to love this coat, and I would have probably considered keeping it despite it fitting a little snug (5'6" 200 lb; ordered a 14) had it not been for the belt. In the stock image, you can see the model is able to use the buckle with the holes provided on the belt --the belt is functional and looks lovely. However, on the coat I received, the holes are so far down the belt, there is no way to buckle without pulling an Elizabeth Swan from Pirates of the Caribbean and "learning not to breathe." Could I just loop and pull through ignoring the holes? Sure, but that's not why I bought this coat. I bought it specifically to be able to use the belt buckle with the belt holes, and that's impossible on this one. Sadly, it's going back. Recommended with reservations, as the construction of the coat is amazing and is does look stunning on. I will say even for a trench, this one is a bit long -- being 5'6", the bottom of the coat was ~4 inches from hitting the floor for me.
