I will buy one for every room in my house. Having a family with bad allergies and two dogs, this is an absolute must have. To add it does an excellent job at getting rid of any smells in the kitchen after cooking! I like that it has an eco-mode and adjusts as needed by itself.

What an amazing product. Of course I tested it. We blew smoke and perfume and various smells at it. Its sensor does work and can distinguish the difference. On auto mode it works the best. And the noise level was low when it needs to be because once it’s cleaned the air it turns itself off. the light from the unit can be dimmed and I slept better breathing in clean air. And the unit is the ideal size. Once it had cleaned the air in the room I opened the windows to see if it makes a difference. It does!

I installed these and after a couple hours I noticed a difference. It lets you know when your air is dirty from cooking odours, dog smells. It works very well

This purifier works wonderfully. My husband and I suffer from pet allergies and this product in our bedroom has been a lifesaver!! We are able to sleep peacefully without any allergy discomfort. I highly recommend anyone with pet allergies to buy this product. It lasts a long time, runs very quiet and does the job better then the 3 other air purifiers we have thru out our home.

I bought this for son’s room at his college apartment to help reduce allergens and odors. It seems to be working well for him. It is quiet and fits nicely in the corner.

I can tell a difference in my air quality and less dust, light weight, nice smell comes out of the top, it isn’t small but well worth it. Can really tell a difference when cooking and when I open a door into the enclosed porch where I smoke cigarettes. We turn it off often once the air quality reaches 96% and leave off during the night. Our house is 856 sq’ and leave between kitchen and living room. Extremely pleased with this purchase even though more than I wanted to spend.

Great air-purifier, high quality product.

Bought the unit to filter the after effects of the Cali wildfire. Using it specifically for a smallish bedroom. As soon as I unboxed it the sensor read 100 and didn’t fluctuate for 2 days. Was concerned I got a lemon or the product is just not what it’s advertised to be. I tested it with smoke from a match and the sensors kicked in and the purifier fan when into high gear. It returned to 100 after about a minute of filtering and the fan went back down. The smoke smell still lingered however even though the sensor detected 100 percent clean air. So up to debate whether I’m confident with this brand/unit or not. My issue is with the lingering smoke smell which contradicts the 100 percent clean air it reads.UPDATE keeping it:) the smoke smell does dissipate after 30 mins of running it. I love the “eco feature” which the machine adjusts itself. It is super quiet at the lowest level which it steadily maintains if on for hours (then switches to eco) and I can sleep through the night undisturbed. I notice a difference, no more sneezing.

This thing is great! I got this for my dog that has nasal cancer. He had radiation last year and it made his nose extremely sensitive to everything and gets nosebleeds. I had the air purifier up in my bedroom the one night and my mom was downstairs cooking french toast in a frying pan sprayed with cooking spray. Within 5 minutes the air purifier kicked on and the clean air percent started to decrease. I didn't think much of it. I came back into the room 15 minutes later and it was running on high with 65% clean air. It ran for 10 minutes and the % didn't change and stayed red. I couldn't figure out what was happening with it but decided to bring it downstairs to the kitchen. It's probably an hour now since my mom was cooking and the air purifier said 45% clean air when I brought it in. It took almost 2 hours on high to get the air in the kitchen to 85%. I was flipping through the particle screens when I first turned it on and there were HUNDREDS of all the different sized particles. I've always smelled something when things are frying but had no idea it was putting that much stuff into the air. I was shocked that the purifier was upstairs and was able to pick stuff up from the kitchen. When I first got it I didn't think it really did anything cause it was always on 95-100% but now I know it actually works!

Excellent air purifier! Bought this one a year ago and it's been working flawlessly, 24/7. The only time it is turned off is when we change out the filter. Now, it does make slight noise while it's doing it's job (like when we're cooking or we have guests over), but once the air is 100% clean, it shuts down to a barely audible whisper. I like that it has a digital gauge to tell you how clean the air is. I have done nothing more than turning it on and off and installing the initial filter and six months later, installing a new air filter, so I can't tell you about any other features because I bought it for one purpose only, filter the air. Sorry.But from the very first morning after we began using it, there was a very noticeable difference in the quality of the air. Our air is now fresh and clean like a morning after a good rain. As much as I love blackened Mahi Mahi, I don't want to smell it when I wake up in the morning. So, no food or dog smells is neato. I've never done it, but it almost feels like sleeping in an oxygen room. We now sleep so much better which I can honestly tell you, makes a huge difference not only in how our days start and go, but also how our bodies recover and heal during deep sleep. You might be surprised at how good clean air and a solid night's sleep will make you feel. And it is for these very reasons that I would highly recommend the Shark air purifier.
