08-03-2026The layer of elastic on the top sure does hold my foot in. It's nicer than a strap. My foot is narrow and hard to find a good dress shoe.

08-03-2026Shoe was lovely but I ordered a size 8 (UK) and was sent a size 7.5. Needless to say it didn’t fit and I had to return the shoes. Not confident to order again! The shoes came from the States so a bit of a faff returning them, although once sent the refund went through straightaway

08-03-2026I’m a size 12 and it’s hard to find nice shoes to fit my long narrow feet and complement my long narrow body. I’ve had a long, happy, very active life too and cannot wear heels. These are just GORGEOUS and they’re also very comfortable. Astonishingly, they’re a tad too big. I ordered a different pair of Clarks a couple of months ago, same size, but also too big. I found a size 11 of yet another pair in a store, really wanted to keep those, but they were snug. So I put some heel inserts in these. I’ll get a stash of heel inserts and keep buying up Clarks when I can find them for a good price. My casual shoes are mostly Keen sandals, just FYI. Im 70, done a lot of backpacking, have banged up my knees and lots of other body parts, so I’ve got to have the support, but I also want to look good. These Clarks are tied with my Keens and my running shoes. I just LOVE them.

08-03-2026Nice and didn’t need to be broken in. After about 5 hours in them my highly sensitive feet started to feel fatigued. The heel is short and stacked and not the usual continuation of the comfort sole. But they look nice and seem durable.

08-03-2026Bought these last minute for job interview. Really comfortable and look smart. I got the job and continue to wear them at work in the office :) only issue is after a few months the leather has started peeling on the toe despite regular polishing!
