This is an excellent display, the pixel response and brightness are excellent, all while being able to get very bright at only 3 Watts, and I can get full brightness at only 5 watts. Great for a mobile/camping setup. I can't say enough good things about this display. Well worth the money, good build quality, and the addition of FreeSync is a feature that makes a portable arcade emulation set up a game changer.
It has been a year of use for occasional work trip use, and it never fails. Makes my work on remote or changing locations to be at ease when having a second monitor. Fits well inside my work bag with my laptop. Easy simple set up. Co-workers loves it and wanted to get their own! Quality is good , performance for me is great for what I need it for!
I badly needed a secondary display to take with me when I travel or work from a cafe for my 14'' MBP M4. I wanted something 1) inexpensive 2) lightweight 3) decent image quality. This display matches all of those and then some. The 2560x1600 resolution is amazing for when you need more "real estate" and don't mind small text. I run it at 1680x1050 and it's the sweet spot for a secondary code window. For watching full screen videos, the full rez is amazing, though and switching is a breeze. Power draw is very low/excellent. It drains my MBP battery about 30% faster than normal, but the trade off is more than worth it. You can also plug the screen itself to a power source and it will in fact charge (albeit very slowly) the MBP. Image quality is great, but specially great when you consider this is a $100-ish 16'' screen. If you work in the visual/creative arts it may not be up to your standards in terms of color rendition, but for every one else this travel monitor is a heck of a deal.
Clear, good color and quality for the price. This is a recommended product for a portable monitor
I travel fairly often and really dislike having to carry extra gear just to extend my laptop screen. I bought this monitor with modest expectations, especially since the brand was unfamiliar to me. I'm happy to say that after using it consistently for nearly a month, I’ve had zero issues. It’s incredibly easy to use, lightweight, and perfect for travel. The price is very reasonable, and overall, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
I recently purchased the ForHelp 15.6-inch Portable Monitor, and it has far surpassed my expectations. As someone who travels frequently, I needed a reliable and portable solution to use as a MacBook PRO 17, and this monitor turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.Right from the start, the setup was incredibly simple. Thanks to the included cables, it was a true plug-and-play experience. I connected my MacBook PRO to the monitor, and within seconds, everything was up and running perfectly—no complicated configurations, no technical headaches. For someone who values efficiency and convenience, this was a major win.The monitor’s 15.6-inch size strikes the perfect balance between portability and functionality. It’s compact enough to travel with ease yet large enough to work comfortably. The display itself is vibrant and sharp, consistently delivering crisp visuals that elevate the MacBook PRO experience. Whether I’m tackling spreadsheets or streaming content, the image quality continues to impress me.I will update in a couple months and let you know how it works then.
Plenty of brightness and the quality matches my 75 inch TV, while not the best. My TV was expensive, and this was not so much. I'd say the price and size has been scaled down from a normal TV. It connected to my Samsung instantly and after using it 3 hours straight the screen isn't even warm. The volume/brightness switch is pretty cool, once learned it's very user friendly. Just wouldn't recommend this for audio at all, it's incredibly quiet. The case works well as a stand on a pillow or a desk from my experience, the magnets keep the "tablet" in place but would likely slip if help sideways. Just use it as a stand and it will be fine. Things very hefty, just a hunk of metal, very sleek with what seems to be 4 holes thay seem to be for mounting it.For the price? And 20 dollars off with a coupon? I'd recommend this without a doubt, I just can't speak for any fault products as mine personally did not come defective
I recently purchased the ForHelp portable monitor from Amazon, and I'm really impressed with it so far. I've only been using it for three days, but I can already tell that it's a great addition to my setup. One of the things I really like about this monitor is the display. It's clear, bright, and the colors are vivid. The size is perfect for me, and it's lightweight and easy to carry around. I've used it for both work and entertainment, and it's been great for both.Honestly, there's nothing I dislike about this monitor. It's been working perfectly for me, and I haven't had any issues with it.Overall, I would definitely recommend the ForHelp portable monitor to others. In fact, I recommended it to my brother and he purchased one for himself! If you're looking for a high-quality portable monitor that's easy to use and has a great display, this is definitely a great choice.
Bought this portable monitor for work purposes as I travel a lot. Received it within 2 days of ordering! Box comes with 3 different cords, which was great because you have options depending on what kind of system you're connecting the monitor to. The monitor is pretty light weight and good quality, but it is definitely fragile. The magnetic case does its job to prop the monitor up, but does not offer any protection and is a bit filmsy. I have an old laptop bag that I put this portable monitor in when travelling and no issues so far! Connecting to the monitor was seamless on my work Windows laptop (single USB-C to USB-C cord). On my personal Macbook, I used the HDMI to mini HDMI cord provided and then the USB-C to USB cord provided for power - one extra cord to connect, but that's not a deal breaker for me.Some people on here have complained about brightness, but this hasn't been an issue for me. I work indoors and the brightness is good enough for me to get what I need done. If you plan to work outdoors or in very sunny areas like by a window, this might be an issue. But for indoor purposes, the monitor brightness is good and the display image is clean and crisp.I've had this monitor for 2 weeks now and use it pretty often (3x a week for 8hrs at a time), and Im very happy with my purchase! I've been so much more productive when travelling for work, would highly recommend if you're looking for a good monitor at a decent price.
I've always felt the need for a second display while working on my MacBook, especially when dealing with extensive data where switching between windows isn't convenient in terms of time and productivity. I'm happy to have found such a great solution. No additional setup was required, and it worked right out of the box. Simply connecting it with a USB-C to USB-C cable between the monitor and my laptop did the trick. I also appreciate that it has speakers. Besides the USB-C to USB-C cable, it came with two more cables: USB to USB-C and HDMI to mini-HDMI - suitable for various devices, so no need to buy additional cables - they're all included! I should also note that no additional AC connection was needed, just one cable connecting the laptop and monitor, which is easy and convenient. Though I'm not sure if this setup works similarly with other devices, it's perfect for MacBook. The package also included a cover-stand. However, since I already had a tablet stand, I also placed the monitor on it for more flexibility in adjusting the angle, as the included cover-stand doesn't provide this feature. The monitor is excellent for multitasking, where multiple programs or documents need to be open. Alternatively, you can work on one monitor and watch movies or series on the other.I purchased the 1080P version, and it might be the reason why the display appears somewhat dim compared to the MacBook Pro's screen, possibly due to the Apple Retina display. However, considering I bought this monitor for less than $60, it truly explains these minor drawbacks and is well worth the price. Therefore, I recommend it to anyone in search of a second additional display.
