08-03-2026Make no mistake this lure is a bass slayer. Also, make no mistake this lure will break in you. It’s guaranteed. The back of the lure ( where 99% of bass will strike it ) has a little metal rod and it bends EASILY. IMHO, it’s not worth the money. I caught 20 bass on it and it broke off on the last fish. I’ll check this lure out again when version 2.0 hits shelves with a re-work of the back part of the lure.

08-03-2026Love the action and definitely catches fish, but the wire holding the rear hook sheered off my third trip using it. I guess the vibration is too much for it. Lure is a bit too expensive for it to break that quickly.

08-03-2026I love this bait! great top water lure. It doesn't float so you need to reel fast to keep it on top but it has a ton of action. The flash and sound is unmatched. The wire holding the back hook and blade does bend on bigger fish, but I've been able to straighten it and keep going. Hopefully Z-man fixes this issue going forward but its a great bait. I wish it wasn't so expensive so i could keep a few colors on hand, but it really works!
