Not feeling yourself? Out of town on a business trip in California and so broke you can't afford water? Just go to the ocean, throw this in, and out comes fresh water. Mmm fresh and tasty.

I had 3 sets of water drop packs in a survival kit. Each one had the orange pouch leak. It was a sticky mess. It didn't appear to ruin the other pouches. But I lost 20% of my reserve. The seal ( salt water pouch ) appears to be better made. If this is the way you go. Repack them individually and assume you'll lose one.

All pouches are packed within one bag so easy to store in a bug out bag etc. Haven’t actually used it as now but I feel better knowing I have these in case of an emergency. A little pricey but much better paying for these than making a solar still for just drops of water.

These taste great & we tested with salt water we took from the boat launch. It could not filter out the salt. But these work great for fresh water, we keep a pack of them in the car & our bug out bags.

Great for an emergency situation; however, the cost is a bit high for the amount of water you get.If you let the bags sit after filled they will slowly leak out a bit, this is interesting given that this is supposed to be single direction filtration... very sugary (makes sense in a survival situation to some extent). I added ice when trying mine to water it down a bit. Also if you buy a multi-pack all of the items are in the same bag... meaning they all need to be used. Also, the bags are all a bit sticky but I imagine there is a good reason for this. If possible individual packaging even for multi-pack bags would make more sense for consumer level.I am aware of no other product that can do what this does. I think it could use a bit more tweaking to really shine. Would be wonderful in a ocean/boat survival situation but not much else, and consider how much water you would need in a survival situation, then calculate the cost and consider the expiration period.
