This power supply has all the modern capabilities that a modern, ATX 3.0 Power Supply should have. It is energy-saving and very quiet.Pros* Includes all Cables* Settable to Single rail or 4 rail for 12 Volt outputs* Very Quiet* Titanium Efficiency* 12VHPWR connector cable ATX 3.0 for newest GPUs* 10-year manufacturer’s warranty* 1000 Watts will easily power just about anything, including a AMD 7950X CPU, and a NVidia 4090 GPU of my rig* modular cables at Power Supply end don't use as many pins, meaning they are not as crowded on the back side of the power supply* No RGB lights (if you don't like lighting)Cons* modular cables at Power Supply end are not standard, meaning a failed cable is harder to replace* Supply has an inrush (starting) current of 51 Amps (using 120 Volt), and that might make some overly sensitive 15 Amp circuit breakers trip unexpectedly when turning on the computer, but is unlikely* 12VHPWR connector cable ATX 3.0 for newest GPUs is hard to bend enough to clear case for at least some Nvidia 4090 GPUs* No USB data connector to get data about temperature, voltage outputs and to control and sense power supply's fan speed* No RGB lights (If you like lighting)
So I purchased this PSU 3-2024 and it has been rock solid for that whole time. Can not say enough about how well built this PSU is. I would recommend this to anyone needing a 1000 watt PSU. I have used it with 2 builds and have not had any issues at all with either system. 1st System AMD Ryzen 5800X 3D with MSI RTX 4070 Ti, 2nd System AMD Ryzen 9800X 3D with a Gigabyte RTX 5080. This PSU handled both system without issue. Great PSU, I know it is on the pricy side but well worth the peace of mind.
The first one worked good but made a scratching noise. I got a replacement that took 3 months to get here, however it seems better. The build quality is good, the cables are significantly better than some of the competition, the efficiency is there, and it seems to be a better value for money than some others.
Very nice modular cables, easy to install.Uses C19 power cable, for which replacements are on the expensive side and harder to get. Unless you need a longer power cable, this shouldn't be much of a problem.
Independent reviews measured 93% efficiency (across 1450 load combinations). In addition it only produces 15 dBA of noise. Rock solid choice for a good price.
Nice and quiet, works as intended. Trusted company and good product. Highly recommend
Very high quality, feels like its made from aircraft aluminum. Well machined parts. All cables are braided and feel of good quality. Very quiet.
I don't even care about my warranty over this. I am so angry. This thing has been causing `DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE` bluescreens in Windows, caused the lights to dim when turning on, and 6 months in -- it's dead. Honestly, this manufacturer should be ashamed over the low quality of part they have produced. They coulda easily damaged $5,000+ worth of parts on this workstation - as we all know a faulty PSU is the component most likely cause knock-on issues as it can under/over volt + is connected to _everything_. Engineers should hang their heads in shame over this! Also, it failed 100% silently, passing my bench PSU tests. If a part dies, it should DIE. Whatever the failure mode on this thing is made me SO worried my mobo was dead as it continued to pass bench tests. Glad I tested it with another PSU before going through the pain of an _entire mobo swap_. Lordy. Lou.What an insult for the price. You've wasted me countless hours... you have cost me hundreds of dollars. This product is a personal insult to me, to my person. It is an affront to me, and to my person.TLDR: Do not buy this PSU. Buy something reputable with brand recognition. This product will likely fail - over months and months... causing you lost work. Causing you confusion.
The 1000W be quiet! Dark Power PC Power Supply is an exceptional piece of engineering, representing the pinnacle of PSU design for high-performance systems. It seamlessly blends raw power delivery with unparalleled efficiency, rock-solid stability, and near-silent operation. While it's a significant investment, its durability, protective features, and future-proofing capabilities make it a worthwhile choice for discerning PC builders who demand the best for their high-end gaming rigs, workstations, or servers. It's truly the silent, dependable heart that allows your high-performance components to sing.
La fuente es muy silenciosa y se siente de muchisima calidad, acabado en aluminio y cables sleeved
My three thousand dollar gaming PC only draws about 500 watts, why did I buy this monster? Well, it quietly hums under a 40 percent load, it is fully modular and it supports the newer high wattage GPU connection, so instead of two cables and a Y adapter you use one high wattage cable. Clean cable management , quiet, quality over engineered parts and numerous connections for potential future expansion. Even though I am a heavy gamer, this power supply cannot be hurt. You can achieve the same result with something cheaper but I don't want to protect JUST the power supply, I want my other components to last long as well. A monster brick that's barely sipping juice cannot be destroyed. This is a very good purchase.
This be quiet! Dark Power 13 750W power supply is an excellent unit. It's incredibly quiet, performs flawlessly, and the 80 Plus Titanium efficiency is fantastic. The modular design made installation a breeze, and it's future-proof with ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5 support. While I'm very happy with this PSU, I do still miss EVGA's power supply offerings. They set a high bar, and I wish they were still in the game. That being said, this be quiet! unit is a worthy successor and I highly recommend it.
