This is a terrible product. It's not as advertised. I bought this because I wanted something healthy for my hair, something organic, natural, but that doesn't mean I don't want the product to work, or I want to be lied to. Low shine, an absolute joke. This thing makes my hair look like I just got out the shower. It looks completely wet. It looks very greasy. I put it on when my hair was dry, and it does not have a low shine at all, like not even close. So right off the bat, red flag. Medium hold, this thing has absolutely no hold on my hair. Yes, I have thick wavy hair, but there's no way this is a medium hold. This is even worse than a light hold. It's almost like this has no hold at all. I mean, I have it on right now, and it's barely holding anything together. Barely. And I've wet it, and I blow dried it, and wet it so that it could try and stay back, because I slicked my hair back, and this thing is just not doing anything. Anything that it says, the low shine, not true. Medium hold, not true. It's pretty much lying to us, and I'm not sure how all the reviews are so good for this. I really wanted something with clean ingredients, and this really let me down. It's sad because this company looked like it was doing a lot of good stuff, but yeah, I had to return this immediately. Terrible product. Do not buy this. They're straight up lying to people.

Awesome product! Just the right amount of hold for my medium length hair. Stays where I put it but isn’t stiff or crunchy - just soft, healthy, reworkable style that lasts all day and the next one if I need it to. And the ingredients are super clean so I’m confident having it in my hair. 10/10 would recommend.

WOW! I've been using the Glacial Hair Clay Pomade and could not be more happy! My more-salt than pepper hair has never looked better. The hold is great without being crunchy and I'm getting just the look i've been wanting now that I've grown my hair a bit longer. No icky smells and no issues with the product not melting in my hands for easy application. Clearly this will be my new 'go to' product. Of course, it helps that my barber is ON POINT!

I’ve been searching for a quality pomade that doesn’t make my hair plastic or oily and I definitely don’t want to smell like those fake chemically scented ones. Highland hits the mark exactly. Great look, great scent, natural ingredients, 100% recyclable packaging. Takes so little of it to have great style so it works out to be really low per use cost too.

I wish I loved this more.The cons: It’s pretty difficult to work with (let alone scoop it out of the canister). Even with damp hair, it’s extremely thick and sticky, and you really have to pull hard to evenly spread it around. The workability is far inferior to a petroleum-based product like Cremo or American Crew. It’s almost like the consistency of tree sap if you’re familiar.The pros: Once you manage to get it to a place you like, it has a wonderful matte texture and a loose hold, which gives a much more casual, natural look compared to other products. It also smells fantastic. Very evergreen-forward which I enjoy.Overall, this isn’t a daily product for me just because it’s so hard to work with, but on the weekends when I have extra time to mess around, or if I don’t mind the look slowly getting messy throughout the day, this is a great option! Solid 3-stars.

I like the texture and the smell, and I like how it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my hands. That being said, the hold is just ok and I think it’s really overpriced for how much you get.

Can’t say enough good things about Highland’s Glacial Clay Pomade! Don’t let your initial reaction to its appearance fool you. This stuff is great! In the tin, it’s fairly thick, but I put less than a dime size amount on my fingertips, place it in my palm, and then rub my palms together and it quickly turns into a very delicate gel that I work into my hair. Unlike other products that leave your hair crispy or with a sheen, this dries invisibly and allows you to continue to adjust and manage your hair throughout the day without looking like you have anything in at all. It’s so easy to use and keeps my hair looking great all day. Smells great too! I feel good knowing that I’m putting something on my body that’s 100% natural even down to the aluminum tin, which is fully recyclable. I’ve been using this along with Highland’s shampoo “The Wash“ for a few months now and I swear my hair has never been softer. I’m a big fan of this company and their products!
