08-03-2026If you have wide and/or athletic shoulders, this is probably not for you. I bought this because another review said it was good for people with wider shoulders, and I can't wear most blouses because I am a weightlifter, and blouses are too tight across the shoulders and upper back. This wasn't any different for me than your average blouse. It was super cute, and I really wish it fit better in that area for me. So unfortunately I am returning this.

08-03-2026I wanted a black blouse, I didn't have one in black. When I order Grace Karin, I know that I'm getting a quality item because I've bought the brand before. When it arrived in a bag, it was very wrinkled and I dreaded having to iron out that front. I first thought, better to send it back because that's going to be a pain to iron. As with most delicate fabrics, I decided to air dry it with a lent free damp item. That worked beautifully, no ironing necessary and the fabric has a nice weight and body. It's 98% polyester. The satin finish is pretty and it catches light so the cross over front doesn't look flat. I'm so glad that I purchased this blouse. I wore it, tucked in and under a jacket, for about 3 hours, not a hint of a wrinkle.The neck band is closed with two half round small buttons and elastic loops. That is a little difficult for me to manage, but I'll get the hang of it eventually. I don't care for the elastic gathered sleeves. Nothing wrong, just not my preferred sleeve. I like a band or a cuff. Considering the weight of the material, it's surprisingly breathable, so it's going to be comfortable in the Spring and Summer. I suggest washing it turned inside out and in a laundry bag, with darks, cold water; dry it low to air heat. You don't need a laundry bag, but it will protect the blouse.Sorry that my pictures don't justify how nice it looks. I'm going to order a few more of these blouses in different colors.I'm 5' 93 lbs, and the small size fits perfectly. Shoulders hit exactly as they should. That's another thing that I like about the brand, it's a true fit. I have girl endowments and I often have to go with a medium to accommodate them, but the shoulder seams fall about an inch or so too wide. I also don't like a bodycon fit. GK nails the proper fit.This is a beautiful blouse with an interesting style. Wear it alone or under a jacket, it's ideal either way. Most of my jackets aren't standard collar friendly, it's a constant struggle to keep the jacket and collar in order. Too much work!You need this blouse in your wardrobe!

08-03-2026This wine-colored blouse looks really great with a pair of black slacks. It did arrive wrinkled, but with a steam iron on SILK setting, the wrinkles came out. I would advise to be careful with the iron and iron it on the wrong side, perhaps using a damp washcloth to sponge over the wrinkles before ironing. I thought the blouse would be hot, but it was not. I wore it a few days ago and got a lot of compliments. As some others have said, the tiny elastic loops that go over the two little buttons on the back of the neck are a royal pain in the neck! If you don't have someone to button these for you, it will take a while to get it done! I have thought of removing these elastic loops and making some out of crochet thread in a matching color. I did add some very small shoulder pads which I covered in similar fabric of the same color as the blouse. It really helped the looks! One other thing--I ordered the medium size and really think I should have ordered the small size. A little big under the arms and on the shoulders. I am 5 feet, 1 inch, and weigh 135. It's not a big deal, but the small would have fit better.
