08-03-2026I wore this tie for my wedding, and I was generally very pleased with it. The value is exceptional. I have seen nearly identical ties sold for multiple times the price on websites targeted at grooms and groomsmen. The color is lovely and generally true to what is pictured (perhaps a hint lighter, but that may just be a matter of the lighting in the pictures). I also appreciate the texture and matte finish of the fabric. That is exactly what I wanted, rather than a silk or polyester tie with glossy sheen.I can think of only two slight downside, or at least things to keep in mind if you are considering purchasing this tie. First, be aware that this is not a wrinkle resistant tie due to the material used. You will likely need to steam it or iron it to eliminate wrinkles from shipping or from packing it for travel. Second, as another review mentions, the fabric is quite thick. I like to tie a full windsor knot because I find the symmetry pleasing, but the knot looked a bit too chunky. I think this fabric is better suited to smaller knots, like a four-in-hand or a half windsor. (That being said, I have a thin frame. Some people like a large knot if they have a larger frame or are wearing a suit with peak lapels rather than notch lapels.)
