This monitor is fantastic. After shopping through loads of monitors including OLEDs and other IPS displays, I went with this one for these reasons:Superior VRR compatibilityFantastic colorsBetter than average backlight IPS bleed.Plug ins located on the back for easy accessIf you're looking for a non-OLED 1440P high refresh rate monitor, this is the one. Love it.

Love this monitor! GREAT colors and quality! I’m coming from a 60hz ps4 pro set-up, now playing on a ps5 slim. I run this monitor 1440p at 120hz and it pairs really well! FPS counter is a nice feature. My only gripe with this is sometimes my monitor doesn’t recognize my gaming system causing me to unplug/plug back in my HDMI. Other than that I think this provides great value and functionality. Plus it’ll still be relevant for me once i switch over to PC gaming. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

The screen is perfect. I never really had any issues. The only issue I did have was when connect connecting with HDMI. It would occasionally blackout and then turn back on, but I just switched to display port and it fixed the issue so really doesn’t matter.I would say the stand is a little bit big but if you have like a table mount or something that fixes that issue other than that, it kind of takes up like a bit of the desk if you want the monitor to be up close. It’s really my only nag about it, but the screen is big. It colors are good. Haven’t had any issues other than HDMI.I use it to play VALORANT, Apex legends, Hell divers, Minecraft, Terraria, Roblox, never had an issue. And I really do like that. There is a in monitor crosshair for some of the games that have crosshairs that move all the time.

First, the QHD resolution (2560x1440) is absolutely crisp. The clarity is fantastic—games look incredibly detailed, and everything from fast-paced action sequences to scenic landscapes is rendered beautifully. The 27-inch size is just perfect; not too big but large enough to immerse you in the experience without overwhelming your desk. The refresh rate (165Hz) is a game-changer, especially for competitive gaming. The screen feels buttery smooth, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in response times compared to my old monitor. Combined with 1ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, I’m getting the smoothest gameplay without screen tearing or stuttering. The color accuracy and contrast are on point too, thanks to the IPS panel. Whether I’m playing games or just watching movies, the colors pop and the blacks are deep, which makes everything look vibrant and rich. The design is sleek with some nice RGB lighting accents on the back, adding a little extra flair to my setup without being too over-the-top. The stand is solid, and I love that it’s height-adjustable and has a tilt/swivel feature, so I can find the perfect viewing angle.Overall, the LG 27" UltraGear QHD Gaming Monitor is an incredible value for gamers who want high performance without breaking the bank. It checks all the boxes: stunning visuals, smooth gameplay, and a stylish design. Highly recommend it!PLEASE NOTE: IT DOES NOT HAVE IN BUILT SPEAKERS

One day the monitor made a noise and then started to go dark randomly. Backlight power issue.Told LG about everything that happened. That it made a strange noise and now the image doesn't work properly. After 2 months they sent it back. It still didn't work. I asked them if they fixed it. They said yeah, we fixed the noise. I said wait did you not hear any thing i said? It made a noise AND THEN THE IMAGE STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY.After another month they send it back and it finally is working ok.Fast forward about 8 or so months. Issue is back again.I have an older LG 27" 1440p 144hz monitor that is rock solid. Haven't had an issue with it. It's still in use today as my second monitor for discord. It seems like LG's QC dropped off a cliff between that model and when they started to make this model. The issues I'm having with the newer model are well known and established, take a look on google.TLDR, Monitor quality is garbage, known hardware issues, and LG's customer service is the worst

TLDR: Received faulty monitor, power issue, returned to Amazon, Refunded, Repurchased same monitor that is fully workingThe first unit had an issue where after the boot up logo it would switch off after 5 seconds each time. I tried a different power cable, but it persisted. Since it was the day of delivery, I opted to return the unit suspecting the power board in the monitor was faulty. Putting this out there because it is a really rare circumstance for a brand-new monitor to arrive as.Amazon customer service was great, and they accepted the return. This was also after speaking with LG and them confirming such an issue would require coming in for repair (I'm glad I did not have to exercise that) and not just something you can troubleshoot. The second unit works perfectly. I highly recommend this screen for people who don't want to take the dive into OLED yet. VRR works amazing with PS5 thanks to the HDMI 2.1 ports. I am also enjoying the added screen real estate coming from 24". The response times are stellar as an FPS gamer and text looks pretty good when i need to work on documents. Overall recommend for someone in the less than 500 CAD price point as the monitor worth is debatable at MSRP, go for it when on offer.

100% would recommend. I put my room in darkness and placed this monitor near my laptop's OLED screen, and it's almost identical in color clarity. It has 1 billion colors just like OLED screens and supports 10-bit (8-bit + FRC, so it's technically 10-bit). Even though it's an IPS panel, it handles dark colors incredibly well—better than any IPS monitor I’ve seen—almost like how it appears on OLED. What’s great is the brightness—it can get really intense in a fully lit room. And the text on screen is super clear, unlike most VA monitors that ruin text quality, especially if you code or play visual novel games.Viewing angles are great, I can't complain. I would recommend this over an OLED with the same specs 100%—great price, great quality, and no risk of burn-in.

Great IPS monitor. Bought a second, but it was a lesser model with 240Hz only through DP and it came with a foreign power connector and was not the latest HDMI tech; that jacked up nonsense had me upset, but they fixed it, third monitor is its match, and both came with zero dead pixels, with great cables, and the Audio-X is dope! I had never heard of it, but it delivers on that promise. Blacks are great, colors are exceptional and that 240Hz is much easier on my eyes through coding sessions. I absolutely love these and will likely use them for a decade easy. Stellar product, just hate they sold me a lower-spec model the second time. Zero flicker, super easy setup, and that high refresh rate is a dream both on macOS and Windows 11 Pro.
