08-03-2026I ordered the ’47 Brand MLB Clean Up cap in the Black on Black Yankees design, and unfortunately, this one didn’t work out for me. I ended up returning it. When it arrived, the cap was folded inside the package, which completely ruined the shape. A baseball cap really needs to be shipped with more care, since the crown and brim depend on keeping their form. On top of that, it came without any tags, which made it feel less new than expected.The black color itself looked nice and accurate to the pictures—deep and even throughout. The Yankees logo in black-on-black is subtle and stylish, so from a design standpoint, it was what I was looking for. Comfort-wise, the fabric felt light and breathable, and the adjustable strap worked as intended, so sizing wouldn’t have been an issue.Where it fell short for me was sturdiness and overall presentation. The material felt a bit thin and not as structured as I would have liked. For something you expect to wear regularly, the lack of thickness and shape gave it a worn-in look right out of the package rather than a fresh, new cap. Considering the brand and style, I expected a sturdier, better-handled product. Absolutely not value for the money whatsoever.Overall, while the color and fit were fine, the condition it arrived in and the lack of structure made this a disappointing experience.
