Way too strong of a scent. It actually smells like a really strong perfume and unfortunately it stays with you. Too strong for my taste.
Smells great! Light hold, will definitely buy again when I run out
Very much the same as 90s hair mousse. It smells fantastic and helped my husband's hair look a little less frizzy, so he's pleased. But it's the same as the old hair mousse from the 90s.
I have baby fine, thin hair that is cut into a chin length bob. Most hair products weigh my hair down or make it look scraggly, and I'm always on the lookout for good products. This foam, as other reviewers have said, is like a mousse, and works in the same way. It gives my hair great, amazing volume, and holds the style at the ends of my hair -- either curled under or straightened, for days. Yes, I'm actually able to go about 3 days without having to wash OR restyle my hair with this product. If you have fine, thin hair, you know that is not the norm!!I like that the foam is very easy to apply and spread, and, especially given that my hair is fine and thin, it keeps me from accidentally applying too much product. I only need one pump. As for the scent, I really like it. It is on the masculine side as some others have mentioned, but I think it's more of a unisex scent, and it dissipates after styling anyway.
Just arrived today and already tried it out - Love it! This DASHU Hair Grooming Foam Tonic from Korea is meant for the men. I think it will work for both sexes. Most of the writing on the amber colored clear plastic 6.76 oz. bottle is in Korean, so cannot explain the liquid used other than I think it's a very light thin oil/tonic that works beautifully for styling the hair. A black plastic lid covers the pump apparatus used for retrieving the oil that turns into a marvelous white foam. The foam is easily finger spread around in the hair, leaving a very nice and lasting scent. Have no idea how many pumps are the usual. I used 4 pumps on dry hair that's about 3" long all over, styled with comb, then brushed out. This product is worth trying, as the styling and volume is excellent, along with holding the hair softly in place - a perfect natural look and feel.
The 1st thing to note is that the English instructions are on a sticker applied to the packaging, so once you remove the plastic wrap all you are left with are the Korean instructions on the bottle. So you will have to keep up with sticker if you want to refresh yourself.Wow this thing has a strong scent. It has that manly cologne smell if that is your thing.Foams OK and kind of reminds me of 80's hair mousse. I would call this low shine & low hold so do not expect to do any dramatic hair styles with this.Giving this 4 stars at most.
I've tried the Dashu's hair tonic and found these two to be similar. The first thing that I noticed was the strong scent. It's likely not for everyone and I don't particularly like it either. I have gotten more used to it and helps with finding the right amount to be applied. This product works great to apply after washing my hair and towel dried. Two pumps work sufficiently well for me. I apply by hand and comb through afterwards. After blow drying my hair, it leaves my hair looking more volumized. The hold is minimal but sufficient to keep my hair in place the entire day. I will use other hair products if I need for special occasions but feel like the hold this provides is sufficient for most days.
The Dashu grooming tonic foam, is similar to their hair tonic, but it comes out of the dispenser as a foam, similar to hand soaps. I'm not sure if the tonic itself is exactly the same as hair grooming hair tonic (which is a good product on its own), but the foam is a little easier to apply. This product will give your hair some general structure after you style it, but if you're looking for a stiffer hold, you'd want to use a hair spray afterwards. I do like the foam which gives me an alternative to applying it to dry hair, which I feel is harder to do with just the liquid tonic.
