08-03-2026I’m a beginner snowboarder, I’ve worn these 3 times now and they have protected me from A LOT of falls! They’re comfortable and easy to move in and definitely soften the blows as I’m learning. I forget they’re even on! Definitely recommend because now falling isn’t so scary and painful

08-03-2026So far, so good. The shorts look like they are well made. They are comfortable. I think the large range should be 29 to 34. I purchased an XL pair and they were too loose for my 33.5/34-in waist. The large fit a little snug but good and comfortable, which is what I need for mountain biking. I do not want them to slide while riding. Plus I imagine over time these shorts will stretch out a little. There is a cummerbund style Velcro closure to tighten or loosen the fit in the waist, which works great. I can dial in the fit perfectly. I imagine someone with a 29-in waist would find the large size slightly baggy.

08-03-2026Life saver when learning to snowboard, falling on the tailbone is no fun. They’re a little bulky but that’s kind of the point and I am still able to move around comfortably.This is my second pair (different brands). The first ones felt like cheap hard foam, these are much nicer.

08-03-2026I'm in my 40s and don't bounce off the ice as well as I used to. Haven't gotten a bruised tailbone since I got these. My kid like them do much he had me buy him a pair. Both are approaching a year old and work wellWe're both about 6ft-6ft 2 tall and 170ish lbs. The large fit us well under our pads.

08-03-2026I'm 6'1", 165lbs. and bought the large size. The padding on the hip and tailbone is in the wrong place unless I pull these up to my rib cage. I can do that, but then there is a lot of pressure on the stomach, and then they slip down over a few minutes of use. I bought them to use while electric unicycling which doesn't even have a lot of movement of the legs. Waste of $50 to me. The side padding is more leg pad than hip. The tailbone pad has a gap right at the actual tailbone. Just not designed well in my opinion. Padding and material is decent at least, and for some/most falls, it would give protection, but I believe other brands have a better design for the location of the padding.

08-03-2026The product feels of high quality, the legs and waist all fit correctly when standing. When sitting or bending the velcro strap pushed hard against my midsection, uncomfortably enough that I am returning the product.

08-03-2026Great set of pads with full hip coverage that is lacking in other pads that I’ve used for snowboarding/skating. Slightly bulky near the gluteal crease but overall great protection of the tailbone and ischium. I would buy them again.
