Unleash your inner bold and bloom-tiful creativity with the Brother Sublimation Printer. The Brother Sublimation Printer is ideal for any maker, artist, or designer as it allows you to create vibrant color projects such as tee shirts, tote bags, ceramic mugs, metal tumblers, coasters and more using Artspira*, Brother’s editing and design app. Once you design in Artspira*, you can quickly transfer your creations to your Brother Sublimation Printer and print high-quality, vibrant color designs. How does sublimation printing work? Sublimation printing prints your graphic onto a sheet of sublimation paper. Then, you use a heat press to transfer the design from the paper onto your product. Dye sublimation printing is a technique that uses heat to transfer images onto sublimation surfaces like shirts, hats, jackets, awards, mugs, mousepads, home decor, tumblers, and coasters (for best results, use materials that have polyester, or a polymer coating. Try to avoid natural fibers and materials/fabrics). Create custom projects for birthdays, celebrations, and inviting home decor. With the Brother Sublimation Printer, your imagination, and Artspira*, creating personalized pieces in vibrant color with exceptional print quality is fun. To start using the Brother Sublimation Printer, first download the Artspira app*. Downloading and setting up Artspira is easy! Access the app store, download the app, create an account, and connect your machine. Once in the Artspira app, you can access over 100 sublimation designs, stylistic photo authentic images, and more! Don’t want to use the app? No problem, access the print driver here to be able to print from your desktop. (https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=hf_sp1eus) Engineered to work seamlessly with your Brother Sublimation Printer, four Brother Genuine Ink cartridges are included (Black Sublimation Ink (SP01BKS), Yellow Sublimation Ink (SP01YS), Magenta Sublimation Ink (SP01MS), Cyan Sublimation Ink (SP01CS)), and administer superior print quality and performance while delivering outstanding results. I have to say one thing about this. But while I do, I am giving Epson the bird. My brother is awesome and you stink like the clothing at Goodwill. But yes, I am very happy with the print quality and price. I went with a remanufactured model because I like to stress myself out I guess and so far so good. Ink lasts forever IMO, at least in comparison to Epson who sold me dry ink and refused to give me refund. I am pretty sure they experiment of live animals too.The printer is perfect for my needs. It's not overly loud or clash with my wallpaper. It is slow but I like the hum.Initial setup is pretty clean and they don't spam so way better company than Epson. May even have real people working there.

The Brother Sublimation Printer makes sharp, colorful designs on tumblers. Easy to set up and compact, perfect for craft projects. Just remember: you need the right coated blanks and a heat press — the printer alone won’t do it. Printer functions great. It’s great for crafters wanting professional-looking results!

I’m thoroughly disappointed with the Brother Sublimation Printer and would not recommend it. Out of the box, the setup process was more complex than anticipated, with unclear instructions and frequent errors. The print quality was inconsistent, with colors often coming out dull or inaccurate, despite multiple attempts at calibration. I experienced frequent paper jams, which disrupted my workflow and wasted a lot of materials. The printer’s software is buggy and doesn’t integrate well with other design programs, making it frustrating to use. The connectivity options were unreliable, causing frequent disconnections and delays. Additionally, the printer is quite noisy during operation, which can be distracting and bothersome. The build quality feels flimsy and not as durable as I expected. The customer support experience was also poor, with slow response times and unhelpful solutions. I faced issues with ink usage, as the cartridges seemed to run out quickly, leading to higher operational costs. The sublimation prints didn’t have the sharp, vibrant quality I was hoping for, making my final products look less professional. The lack of clear troubleshooting guides added to the frustration. The printer’s design is bulky and takes up more space than I anticipated. Overall, this Brother Sublimation Printer has been a letdown in terms of performance, reliability, and ease of use. I regret investing in this product and would advise looking for alternatives.

I was saving to buy a sublimation printer, Then I saw this printer, when I saw the price I said this is the one . The size it’s perfect for my craft space, the preformance it’s very good, the quality print it’s beautiful the colors when you press it with the heat press especially the mugs and tumblers look beautiful I’m not a fan of sublimate tshirt. But for the other things for personalize mugs, tumblers, canvas ect. It’s great. The inks well for my it’s ok , if you think other inks. Like sawgrass its more expensive , this ones it’s ok the price . And the best part As long as the Brother SP1 Sublimation Printer is being kept plugged in and turned on, it purges once a week. On top of that, the printer also does “flushing” every time it prints to remove sticky ink attached to the nozzle area. The SP1 is continuously performing these two operations to prevent clogs automatically. I’m very glad and happy

This is my first sublimation printer and I am very happy with this printer. The photos that I have printed have been very good quality and vibrant colors and have applied really well to the sublimation blanks I have used. I like that it will self clean the heads as long as the printer power is on. It was important to me to get an actual sublimation printer in order to have the warranty on it.The printer works with the Artspira app. This app is only available on a smart phone or tablet. It is very difficult to design on such a small screen. Brother needs to have a program that will work on a computer to make designing easier.I did gave difficulties getting my phone to connect to the printer after I designed my work on the very small screen. I used the chat feature on the Brother site and they were able to help me get it connected in order to print.

I love my Brother sublimation printer. It is simple to set up and to use. It prints beautiful images. I have not had any issues with this printer. The Artspira app has a way to go but I believe it will improve. Too much embroidery and not enough sublimation on the app. I hope Brother is planning a large format Sublimation Printer that is as great as the this one.
