Got this about a week ago in the mail. For what it costs and what it's done for me in the week I've had it I feel it's hit the mark pretty well. Razor is cheap and came with two heads, I admit I am more prone to just using the circular one on my arms and legs despite not being the intended design and I'm not really going to go into other areas with it, I'm not nearly that daring.Potential downsides people may have is there is a very high pitched mechanical squeal as you use it, and as some other reviews have mentioned you can probably get cut up pretty bad by the other head, which is why I don't use it, mine hasn't cut me yet and I aim to keep it that way. When you put it it on the charger, it gives a red light to indicate that it's charging. Thing is, at least mine and according to a few others there's no indication of when it's done. It'll just stay red so assume it's charged if you've left it on there for a while. Past that the only other downside I have is the heads capture a small amount of hair then need cleaned. This is not really something I personally consider a downside as cleaning is supremely simple, you just twist off the parts, blow them out into the trash bin then rinse and put the 3 pieces back together which would be a joke to an 8 year old who has played with Legos twice ever in their life. It really is a simple thing which is why I don't consider it a downside, it's more tedious than problematic. In terms of effectiveness, it's not really a high bar, a razor is meant to cut hair and this does well and gets it pretty low. With the circular head I can give a little pressure to it and get my arms and legs feeling smooth. Sometimes it might take more passes but it'll get the job done and not leave your skin feeling irritated.Bottom line:Pros:Small and portableEasy to useEasy to cleanDoes what its intended toCheapCons:Cleaning can get tiresome with how little it holds, but this is mitigated by shaving more often. With stubble it hardly fills up.Light doesn't really indicate power level or whether its charged at all, just that it is connected to charger. It's a cheap product which can come with longevity concerns. If you treat it like a cheap electric razor you picked up off Amazon to get the job done until you could upgrade to something better down the line, you'll be pretty happy. If you buy it thinking it should be on par with something 15x the price then you're going to be disappointed, and probably disappointed by a lot of things with those kinds of unrealistic standards. The only reason I didn't rate the overall product a 5/5 is because they're not segregated to price range, and it isn't perfect. Compared to the far more expensive ones, yeah this one's going to get beat. However it's easily 5/5 if you compare its performance to its price just from what I've seen. I'm only a week in so take it with a grain of salt.
This worked okay on my private area. However, on my arm pit it tore up my skin. I did use the proper piece that was flat. And it takes a while to charge as well. Not recommending to anyone. My armpit is bleeding. The first picture is with my razor and looks good. In the second one, is this product. You can see it didnt get all the hair and is bleeding. At first I felt the niks and didnt think it would cut me. You can see the beginning of it bleeding here.
I was pleasantly surprised with this razor! I first found this razor off of Reddit forums when looking for a better shaving alternative; since getting older, I'm feeling more of the cons of shaving (nicks and cuts, razor burn, itchiness, ingrown hairs, etc.). I had seen this razor before when looking around and decided to try it!Everything came in a small package as shown in the photos; it came fully charged, with a charging cable, a brush, an alternative razor head, and protectors that cover both the razor heads. I tested it out on my arms and legs which had little prickly hairs, it didn't pull any hairs and left me completely smooth! I wanted to know if this would pull hair, so I asked my boyfriend if he would like to be my test subject as he has long leg hair, he agreed and I shaved a small spot on his legs. He was just as surprised as me when it didn't pull his hair and was silky smooth! After waiting some time since my first shave, I'm not overwhelmingly itchy or have experienced anything remotely painful from using this electric razor. I recommend this to anyone experiencing the same issues as me!
Great product and value for money
Works wonderful.
This is a brilliant product and one I would highly recommend. It's easily one of the best electric shavers I have ever used and I've tried a fair few. Gentle and comfortable on the skin (I have found past ones snag easily and don't feel nice) as well as getting right to the root creating a great shave. All of this combined makes it value for money too. All round big smiles
A good razor doesn't cut you
I have skin issues and if I cut myself, I get a growth that I need to have removed by a doctor. So I was really tired of going through razors every month because I can only use them when they new and semi used. I decided to give this a try because of needing to save money. So far I've had zero issues. I've only used the head that came attached already and haven't needed the second one. It seems durable where as razors will become dull after a few uses. I use it every few days, and I'm still on the initial first charge. So that's nice. I've used it under my arms, legs, and nether regions. (That part scared me senseless but not a single nick.) It comes with a little brush to clean the hairs afterwards. Can't get that with razors. No place really for the hairs to jam, making the blade become null and void after awhile, so that's nice. Charging speed was great. I think I only charged it for a couple of hours before use and like I said, haven't needed to charge it again since. So I would feel comfortable if I forgot the charger on a vacation as long as it was charged before hand.
Works great on facial hair!
Outstanding for facial hair removal (no pain, great job getting majority) but the leg/armpit attachment is painful and ineffective.
