Works great,super simple set up!
Works well, have had for several months. No issues
Installed this unit at my 85/94 year old parents home. Perfect for the very little usage they need. They did not have WiFi and we bought them for some family online photo adding frames and they are perfect for their situation. I can not attest to more demanding usage, but this is for my parents situation, working out great.
Working good, 100%, excellent for the price
Bought this to replace rental from spectrum that cost $10 mo. Set up was ok, bot trying to sign in to change the password was difficult. Trying find the username and password was difficult. No tech support is available. Tried using their chat bot and they were going to charge me to have someone call. Finally tried user ADMIN and password ADMIN and I was able to change the password. But a very frustrating . Along the way, called spectrum tech support and the wouldn’t help because it wasn’t their ite. I was ready to box it up and return it. 3 stars because it’s working 0 stars based on the issues I had.
I needed a cost effective and basic WIFI router for travel and this looked like it would work (I didn't need 5 or 6 ghz or 802.11ax / ac or even the wired ethernet). While it does work, it only does with the default SSID and password printed at the bottom of the router. When I reboot the router, the management interface allows you to log in and that is about it. After that repeated attempts to connect show connection refused.I connected via ethernet hardwire, WIFI, and even reset the router (via the button). It did not work at. Did I use a different browser - yes- did that and I had no extensions enabled (used Chrome and Edge). It is easy to setup, just not configure which I really wanted.I'd return this, but I needed it for a road trip and I'll limp along and get a better router that is not nearly as quirky. The though did cross my mind to flash the firmware, but HOW? This has a quirky web management interface. This could have been part of a bad batch, but in any case, please spend your $20 elsewhere.
Have had it for 2 months and it works well for me. Running 2 TVs computer and upto 4 phone at times.
I purchased this router as a low-cost solution to a persistent connection problem with my electric car charger. My charger operates exclusively on 2.4GHz and doesn't support the latest encryption protocols, which caused stability issues with my Xfinity Wi-Fi router's dual-band setup—it simply couldn't handle it.Adding this router for Wi-Fi, connected via a wired LAN connection, was incredibly easy. I was able to strategically place it closer to the charger, ensuring maximum signal strength where it was needed most. For added security, I configured it to be accessible only via a MAC address whitelist.Overall, this was a fantastic deal and perfectly solved my connectivity problem.
