08-03-2026Rope was delivered in a damaged box and has some fraying before ever being used. I kept this item but won't use it for climbing. If the next one I receive is frayed I will update this review.

And as a "rigging rope" it's strangely thin .... so I don't know an arborist on Earth who would use this as a rigging line in a portawrap or other friction device.It's oddly advertised on the site as a climbing line -- but what is the break strength? Is it dynamic? There is confusing info about this rope.I don't hate the rope as a utility rope ... but as a rigging rope it's a no go and dangerous.

08-03-2026I have always had some decent rope in the back of the car/truck. Anyone worth their salt should. This rope is quite well made, feels like it is a good one to keep on hand. I plan on doing a pull test when able, however I don't doubt that it'll meet or exceed it's listed specifications.

08-03-2026I needed a UV resistant rope to replace a couple of 32' extension ladder halyards that see a lot of sun exposure (stored outdoors). This were the best deal I could find but I was leery of the low price.I was pleasantly surprised at the great quality of this rope. It is quite a bit stiffer than the braided nylon rope I'm replacing, but it's also rated at a far higher breaking strength.When I need more low-stretch utility rope I'll consider this brand again.

08-03-2026I used this rope with my Boy Scout troop to teach knots and rope care. The rope is large enough to see what you are doing as you tie knots and flexible enough to work most knots. It was easy to cut and melt easily to stop any fraying. I can't vouch for its load capacity; it seems light but would work well for the Swiss seat. For my purpose, the rope works great.
