08-03-2026When I hold this wallet, it definitely feels like a cut above the rest. It feels good in the hands, it feels good in your pocket, it's easy to retrieve from your pocket and fast for drawing your cards. I knew it would fit perfectly in most of my pants and shorts but there were some jeans I was concerned about the wallet not fitting in, but even in my tightest jeans the wallet still fit nice and snug. The leather does have a stubble leather smell but isn’t overpowering, and there are plenty of pockets for all of your cards. The brass deer ornament also adds to its premium feel. You otherwise wouldn’t be able to tell that this wallet wasn’t made in the USA.My only critiques are that the wallet does deform in your pocket towards the top. I get the feeling that it is going to cause an odd wear mark in the future so I added a thin piece of plastic that fits inside of one of the cash pockets to give the face of the wallet more support. I believe that if there were more card insert pockets above the ID slot then this wouldn’t be a problem.Another option that could go above the ID slot is an AirTag pocket. I understand the designer of this wallet was going for a western style and adding something like a AirTag into this wallet might make look out of place but sadly there isn't an AirTag card and ever since I started using AirTag i haven’t misplaced my wallet once so it would be nice to integrate this internally into the wallet to keep it out of sight.I simply believe something needs to go above the ID slot because as it stands now, it just feels like wasted real estate.My last critique is that I wish the wallet was a little taller. US currency does fit in pockets but not perfectly flat. The wallet might be just 2mm too short. If these changes were implemented then this wallet would be a solid 10/10 perfect wallet.Overall, This is a perfect gift for anyone and I’d be definitely looking forward to buying from House of Jack Co. in the future.
