Good stuff. A bit stiffer than the Seguar I've used. The small spools are desirable for me. I'll buy again!
Excellent fishing line. Extremely clear, virtually invisible. 6lb test as limp as mono. Knots seem strong for jug head leader. Will also use for mainline on ultralight combo.
Great fluorocarbon for a discounted price! I tie pompano rigs with it and bought again in bigger roll. Works well and does what you need.
I use the Kastking Kovert Essential line on my Carolina rigs fishing for freshwater Striper and Hybrids. It makes for great knots that cinch down well. I don't have issues with abrasion. And it doesn't get tangled as easily as mono, with active baits. I'll be using it for my saltwater set-ups in a couple of weeks, as well. Good stuff!
First I have to mention that I’m a big fan of the KastKing Kovert leader materials and I’ve been buying the red and blue versions for a while. I like that I can get a small amount of every size leader and that allows me to find what fits the fishing situation best, and I’m not breaking the bank by buying 150-200 yard spools. The value for money on this new green-packaging Kovert leader is amazing. The product itself is exactly what you’d expect, solid quality FC leader. I’ve got this in 8lb test tied with an FG knot to some 10 pound braid. Super sensitive, knot strength is great, and the memory is very low which is good!
I ordered the 10 Lb line and found it very easy to spool onto the reel. It had very good knot strength and I had no isses with break off. Casting was clean and I think that the color made it almost invisible in the water. Caught some and could feel the hits very easily. I did not have any issues with birdsnests and I think it would be able to handle a 7-8 lb fish without issues.
I was looking for a less expensive alternative to Seaguar Blue Label. This was stiffer than I hoped.
Definitely surprised. I measured this against some daiwa flour that I have and this is thinner. It did break at about 6lbs but it has more stretch than the daiwa. Would def recommend.
