08-03-2026SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I would leave 0 stars, but I don’t think it’s possible. This thermometer doesn’t work AT ALL. It’s possible that I received a “bad apple,” but there’s no way to know for certain without spending more $ to chance it. By the time I actually used it/needed it, the “return window” was closed. My previous thermometer (shared with/gifted to a family member/niece with a sick baby/great-niece) looked very similar, but worked perfectly, unlike this one. Return timeframes should be longer, especially for very necessary items like thermometers. It’s possible the customer is sick, possibly the entire household is sick, & is already inconvenienced by not having a working thermometer… but to then realize they not only have to buy another one but also won’t be refunded via $ or exchange for the NEW but BROKEN one (to replace the customer’s previous thermometer that was shared (= gifted) with a sick family member. The moral of my lengthy “story”: regardless of the (basically “expected” at this point)unavoidable headache, ALWAYS choose to do the good deed… if at all possible. In this case/my case, if you’re “sharing turned gifted” with your sick BABY great-niece (or her first time Mommy), save yourself the headache (& now quite a bit of $) & purchase the Braun ThermoScan 7+ Connect if it’s needed for a baby (or any age - PERFECT for the ENTIRE family). My (first time Mommy) niece is now well prepared with 2 great thermometers… & I have NONE while writing this review to hopefully help another family save time & money… while also ALWAYS choosing to do the good deed. ❤️
