08-03-2026Aufgrund des etwas höheren Preises habe ich mir eine bessere Qualität erhofft. Der Rock, Made in China, kam total zerknittert an. Leider ist die Webung auch nicht ebenmäßig, es gibt streifen wo man durchschauen kann. Ich habe gehofft, dass es nach einer Wäsche besser wird. Leider nicht. Der Rock ist für die Tonne, ich würde es nicht nochmal bestellen.

08-03-2026The skirt was delivered super fast, could put together my costume really easily.The material is pretty soft and there are no seam rips. The pockets are good sized too! Fits my phone without feeling dragged down and the pockets are hidden so it doesnt look bulky.The skirt is very lightweight and flowy. The elastic part of the skirt is really comfortable and looks pretty. The length is perfect for a long skirt. Very versatile to dress up for costumes or regular.Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because it is quite see through which was one of the concerns when buying a skirt. Easy fix tho, just wear something else under it.Came really wrinkled and looked funny but takes some time to get rid of the wrinkles with a steamer. There will be a picture of with and without wrinkles, not a big deal because easily solved.Will definitely consider buying more skirts from this brand!I am using the skirt for a pirate outfit.For size reference: I got a size S and it fits perfectly, not too tight, stretchy so its breathable too. The size chart is accurate.Length wise: It's a great maxi skirt for me, 5'2

08-03-2026I bought this to wear with the bodice from the same brand, and it matched perfectly, together they give a beautiful gown-like look!The skirt is super comfortable and has pockets, which is always a win. It’s not overly long, and when I wear it pulled up higher under the bodice, I can still access the pockets easily. Material is thick, even the light colors you cannot see through in any lighting.The waistband is elastic with a drawstring, so it’s easy to adjust and stays comfortable all day.Highly recommend if you're pairing it with the bodice or just want a versatile, flattering skirt!

08-03-2026I absolutely love this skirt! The color is lovely, the pockets perfect. And let's not get me started on the flow...scratch that! I could go on and on about the flow! It's light, lovely, and smooth movement feels amazing! My 7-yr-old daughter and I were all giggles over the twirling quality. Very high marks! I'm 5'4" at 168lb and the L/12 fits nicely. Feeling very pretty!

08-03-2026I really really love this skirt! The Deep Yellow color is perfect muted autumn shade and I find myself choosing this one to wear the most out of all my skirts. I like making it my second layer and by rolling the waist band over and allowing it sit closer to my belly button it hits at that perfect second layer spot! Even though the material has some weight and feels really durable it still flows beautifully and is so fun to do spins in while dancing! It doesn’t create any friction or static on either the above or below skirt regardless of what fabric or brand I layer it with! Admittedly it is slightly big around the waist on me (I’m generally an xxs-xs with a 24” waist), but the drawstring helps a little with tightening and so does folding over the band. Since I wear a corset having it be a little big isn’t a problem because that holds it in place. It’s not so big that it immediately falls down to my hips and stays up enough for me to get the corset on (I’ve had skirts that don’t stay up and they’re impossible to wear even with a corset). I could most likely wear it without a corset but it would rest low on my hips with a bit of a gap at the band. I’d wear it that way if that was my intended style because it’s not super big. There’s a lot of stretch in the waistband so I think it would accommodate a lot of sizes. At 5’2” when I wore it low on my hips without rolling the waistband over the longest part of the shirt hit the top of my boots that had a small heel (less than 2”), so I can wear this as a bottom layer. It’s super wrinkled when you open it but spraying some wrinkle release on it and throwing it in the dryer with low heat got most of them out, the rest smoothed out the more I wore it. It doesn’t really seem to pick up wrinkles while wearing it- even 3 hour car rides didn’t create a lot of wrinkles and by the time I got out and walked around a bit most shook out. If I was using it as a top layer I might actually try to steam it, but it’s really not that bad with wrinkles. I’ve worn this one about 5 times so far, including dancing and sitting on wooden benches as well as during a rainy muddy walk to an indoor event and it’s held up great. I often change into comfortable clothes for the drive home so this just gets balled up in a bag so I’m not gentle with it. I think it’s well worth the price, especially when it’s on sale! I like this one so much and know I’ll be wearing it for quite some time that I actually bought a second one in case anything happens to the original and so I can have one to wear while the other is drying (I hang to dry because my dryer likes to destroy clothes on a high heat cycle). I’ve bought this style in other colors and like them as well. I’ve actually grown to love quite a few styles of skirts from Scarlet Darkness! I waited a long time because the size chart made me think it would be just way too big for me and, yes, all styles are a little big but they still work for me. For reference I am 5’2”, 24” waist, slim hips, small bust and rib cage and am just petite in general with much more of a lean muscle tone from walking and hiking so much. So I’d highly recommend these skirts even if you are smaller than the size chart indicates, they’re really easy to adapt to a smaller size be it folding the waist band or securing with a corset or belt and if you don’t mind a lower rise skirt someone smaller would wear without having to adapt it at all! My only regret with this skirt is waiting so long to try it out and take a chance on it!
