This bi-colour LED panel has been the perfect addition to my setup. It’s compact but bright, and I like that you can adjust both the brightness and the colour temperature (from a warm 2500K to a cool 6500K), depending on the mood I want. The rotating knob makes it easy to control both settings, and it remembers your last mode, which is handy. The adjustable panel angle is a plus too as it’s easy to tweak for different angles when shooting portraits, products, or even outdoor scenes. It runs on either an NP-F battery or via a power adapter, which gives me flexibility when I’m shooting in my studio room. I’ve used it for portraits so far and it’s given me great results on the camera, and the light quality has been consistent. It’s not overly bulky either, so it’s easy to move around with.Overall, a solid, budget-friendly light that I’ll get a lot of good use out of.
If you’re looking for a compact light that holds a lot of watts, this is for you. When it arrived, I didn’t know what it was because the box was so small. It’s great if you need to travel with the light.
I’ve been using this light for a couple of weeks now and it’s been awesome. The brightness is super adjustable, and I love that you can switch between warm and cool tones depending on the vibe you want. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and the barn doors help direct the light really well. Just note—it doesn’t come with a battery, so make sure to plug it in or grab a compatible battery if you need it cordless. Overall, a solid piece of gear for anyone shooting video or content at home!
I’m not a photographer, so I’m using it in my study room for improving my lighting during conference calls and virtual presentations. I installed it behind my monitors slightly above them, so the angle of light is perfect. The light is very bright and more than enough for my use.
Lightweight, yet powerful light source. Very easy to hook up & use. Provides clear, even lighting. You can easily change the color temperature to simulate outdoor or indoor lighting in the studio. Also very useful for video or zoom visits by providing flattering light for the face to reduce wrinkle shadows. It is such a wonderful photography tool, I will buy another one!
Works well - you have to buy the battery separate. The white light works great for taking pictures of my art to make them into prints. Helps make it look flawless and no light spots or reflections. The light is distributed evenly.

Love it, just enough light for our use in this way, we use it in our podcast
LED lights are great. With the addition of a battery or a power pack they provide an easy way to provide continuous lighting indoors without generating much heat. I have a number of them in my kit. The battery operated ones can be used outdoors as a fill light. This light puts out 2400 lumens which is adequate for a fill light, or perhaps for someone who is making a zoom call, but not as a main light on projects where the subject is more than 3 or 4 feet from the camera. The built-in barn doors allow you to direct or block the light, and there are settings to control color temperature and power output. One can use the provided power supply or a single NPF battery. (NPF batteries come in a variety of sizes that will provide shorter or longer power depending on size.)The light comes with a flash mount. Given the size and weight of the light, it is rather unwieldy to use on the camera. The light can also be mounted on a light stand with a ¼-20 spigot. There are other LED lights designed for a hot shoe that have the same output as this that are the size of a cell phone. While the one that I use for on-camera light is almost twice as expensive, it is worth the money for the convenience. The light does not come with a diffusion filter, although the LED spread makes the light softer than a single bulb. The construction is plastic and feels a little flimsy, although it did not affect the rigidity of the light or the barn doors.I would not recommend this light for on-camera use. If one expects to use a light in many situations, and wanted a lot of flexibility, one should probably consider a more expensive light with more output and features.
I was very excited by this product and it didn't fail at my opinion. Let's get to it !Pros :- Very lightweight. It's ideal for people who like to do trekking and keep the backpack lightweight.- The panels are thin so they don't add a lot to the device size. It can fit in a lot of places once the panels are folded. It's not much bigger than a common 12 inch androïd tablet.- It works with the well known NP-F format batteries that a lot of video producers have. You can find them everywhere on Amazon and I don't think they will be outdated soon. They're pretty much a standard for a lot of devices users.- It also came with the correct power supply. It's cable is long enough to give us a good space ( around 10 feet long ).- The light is very powerful at it's maximum level for portrait operations and some scene enhancements, enough to create special effects on a face , a beam , a big rock on a shore etc. Not necessarely made to be the principal source of light but to enhance things.- It's intuitive. 1 second press to turn on the light , turn the button for the light level and for the temperature of the light ( color ) , you just press one time the button, turn the button again.- Even if you may need a more sturdy device for some studio work , you may need a lightweight solution for outside shots. As I travel with an E-Bike , this item is a must.- It has a shoe mount but also a hole under it ... to use with a tripod. No need to use adapters.- They mixed yellow lights with blue lights and it allows us to change the light color temperature without adding and removing each time a different diffuser. I love this. This is more precise than a single filter panel for each temperature.Cons :- It's a bit fragile on the plastic side. This was necessary to keep the device as portable and lightweight as possible.- When we turn the button , passed a point , it feels like it takes more steps to finally get the light to the max power and it made me wonder if it's normal but ... I got used to it and it's not a deal breaker in my opinion.- The dimmer feels strange a bit ( maybe cheap ) when you turn it first but honestly it works and after using it an entire day of work, I'm confident that it's just a feeling, not real cheapness. Some lightweight plastic can create different feelings. I got used to it.Conclusion :This product is a revelation to me. I was in the past working with diffusers and CLF lights but I needed a setup able to give me portability. In a forest, at night , you can add a special touch to a scene with this. You can use it at home to do portrait photography. It's true I wouldn't want to drop by accident this light on the floor but it's the trade to do if I want to save space and weight in my backpack when I'm going to see special places on my E-Bike.Even if I had a more sturdy devices , I would need this one to complete my kit. It's useful in real situations out of the studio.I wasn't sure to give 4 or 5 stars because yes, I was a bit unsure about the solidity and long term durability of this but honestly it corresponds globally to more than I expected for an item of this price range.I've decided to give 5 stars to this and just update my review if anything anormal occurs. I want to encourage good products and I feel this one really has a reason to be.Just hold correctly the device while pressing the button to avoid twisting any plastic part. Other than that , enjoy !!!Hope it helps you decide.
