I first bought their matcha wax, but the smell reminded me of a grandma from Japan (I’m Japanese). Tried this one which smells way better to me. It seems “looser” though, so when I used just a little to slick back for a ponytail, by the end of the day, the wax had shifted its way onto my forehead. I’ll try using even less next time. The matcha one actually was so thick, it would pull baby hairs out. So I guess this is better than losing hair.
genuinely want to gatekeep it works so well. Little goes a long way, love it so much for smoothing my baby hairs! I look so much more polished.
It's a great product we have yes in our household fireverl I read in an article decades ago that Sharon Stone cut her own hair and used Tancho (When she had that short windblown look). Great for styling thick shirt hair. If you v0cannjaster this product, using small amount at the root and working it through...and a powder texturizer like OSIS Dust it on the roots....you can get your hair t9mhave lift and get messy, full modelish perfection. We have always used the lavender scent, but the cherry us nice.
Have used the lavender version for decades but this cherry scent is truly magnificent. A long lasting, great quality product!
This product is exceptional and I love the smell of it ! I would recommend it ! With a great hold and no greasiness and it has a fair price . Go out and buy one
I got this product for my wife and actually had tried it myself. The cherry blossom scent is pretty nice, not super sweet. When I tried it out, it did work pretty well as I use it to touch up any flyaway hairs after trying to get rid of my bed head. I used styling wax before, but this is a quicker and more convenient fix. My only gripe with his product is actually the packaging. It has an interesting system where it asks the user to push the stick up from the bottom, but there is no way of retracting it if you push it up too far. It's not a big deal as it's an easy fix, but just feels weird to take the stick out completely to reset the stopper. Once I knew how to reset it and made sure not to overextend the stick, it didn't bother me.But overall, the product works really well and smells nice, so I can live with the stopping mechanism, just have to keep that in mind and controlling how much to push up.
When it comes to controlling flyaways, the GATSBY Tancho Hair Styling Wax Stick is a game-changer. My hair has always been a magnet for stray strands, and as someone who values a polished look—whether it's a sleek ponytail or a neatly styled bun—this product has been a lifesaver.A few months ago, I noticed a few rebellious gray hairs cropping up, sticking straight out from my middle part. These pesky strands refused to stay put, and even the strongest gels or pomades only offered temporary fixes. But after hearing about the wonders of the Tancho stick on social media (apparently Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber's hairstylist uses this), I decided to give it a shot—and I’m so glad I did. This wax stick works like magic. After just a few swipes along my part, I noticed my flyaways were tamed without weighing my hair down. The formula has the perfect balance: it's lightweight enough to avoid greasiness, yet strong enough to hold even the most stubborn strands in place all day long. Plus, the cherry blossom scent is subtle but delightful, adding a touch of luxury to my hairstyling routine.I’ve used it for sleek buns, ponytails, and even on days when I wear my hair down, applying it sparingly to target stray hairs. The versatility is unmatched, and unlike other products I’ve tried, it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stiff or crunchy. If you’re someone who struggles with baby hairs, flyaways, or unruly grays, I can’t recommend the GATSBY Tancho Wax Stick enough. It’s an affordable, effective solution that I now consider an essential in my hair care arsenal.
I’m glad I’m not the only person who had issue with the way this product is packaged. I pushed it up too much and was stuck with an inch of the wax stick just sticking out of the package, and I was unable to cap or cover it.As far as the product goes, works great to smooth down flyaway hair. A little goes a long way, and it has a pleasant smell.
