It keeps everything together, but the mesh fabric means that I can throw my fins back in at the end and they will still dry. Has lots of little pockets for holding my lock for the locker, keeping my goggles and noseplugs separate, etc. There is a dry compartment, which I find a little small. I can put my wet bathing suit in it, but that is about it. It may be more useful as a storage space if you want to make sure something stays dry. I like the pattern, because it is unique and obvious, so easy to identify. All around a decent little gear bag.
