08-03-2026This HL-L2480DW Black and White Laser Wireless Printer, is very easy to setup with your wireless network. The print is very sharp and clear. Easy to setup cellphone and/or other devices to send printing to printer. The printer is extremely fast and has been free of malfunctions. The printer is also a scanner which I have not tested. This is a duplex printer which performs this function flawlessly. The price point on this printer is excellent and highly competitive. Highly recommend this printer for individuals, families and small businesses. I am not receiving any type of compensation for my review.

08-03-2026Needed to replace my 8 year old all in one ink jet printer. After researching, found this Brother laser printer. I rarely needed to have a color printout so decided to go with laser monochrome printer. Plus I got tired of dealing with ink cartridges messiness and expense. Received the new printer in its manufacturer’s box. Upon opening, all components were there including instructions for setup. Setup was fairly straightforward for me. I have all Apple products. I installed it in my home office along side my iMac. Connectivity was no problem. Added paper and the cartridge which installed easily. Plugged it in, iMac found it, installed software and was ready to go. Tested it out with a print job. Boy was it quick compared to ink jet. And the textual document was sharp and clear. Next tried a copy. Copy was also clear and quick to produce. During these initial jobs I was also impressed by the low noise produced by this printer. My old ink jet, would clatter, bang, shutter, and moan for at least 30 seconds or more before any printing. This printer started and finished printed with 20 seconds. Then I tried a 30 page document. It was finished printing in almost no time without all the noise and drama of the old ink jet printer. Very happy so far. Why didn’t I do this sooner. By the way, the display is touch screen, and is easy to navigate. It also gives you indication of the remaining life of the cartridge. I also generated a print job from my iPad. Worked very well. No glitches, no problems. Glad I made this purchase.

I've only used the print and copy features so far and they're great. Haven't used the scan feature yet. Easy and quick to set up, and intuitive to use.Never thought I'd say I love a printer but I love this one - the BROTHER HL-L2480DW Wireless Compact Monochrome Multi-Function Laser Printer with Copy and Scan, Duplex, Mobile, Black & White.(I came to despise all the other *HP* printers I've owned. All of the HPs had wireless reliability issues. Took multiple tries on 90% of the print jobs, with most of them never printing at all. Based on Amazon reviews and Reddit comments, I decided to give up on HP printers and will now only buy Brother. Whatever Brother is doing with their printers, they're doing it right, and hope they continue.)Bought this printer on March 13, 2025 for $220, am reviewing on September 19, 2025. Haven't kept track of the number of print jobs, but am nearing the end of the end of the first ink cartridge, which sounds about right because it seems like I've printed enough to go through a cartridge.So satisfying to know my print job's going to be ready when I walk into my little home office.
