08-03-2026I have been working on a comparison of the Soft Feel, Q-Star and the Z-Star balls. I found the Z-Star a bit too high in compression and stiff for my swing speed. The Soft Feel is just as the name implies, soft but overall a decent ball for someone like me who has been playing for 76 years. The ball doesn't know your age, and I was looking for something a bit more. The Q-Star may be my new go-to. It has a crisper feel than the Soft Feel but isn't as stiff as the Z-Star. It ha a better spin rate and stops on a dime.Price wise it' a couple bucks more than a dozen Soft Feel balls and what the heck. We all are running on a limited time warranty so don't try to save on a golf ball.
