Students lear if letters love this game - I did make a wooden board for the monster so it would stand up -
Not very durable didn’t last long
I’m so impressed with the Alphabet Learning Toy – The Alphabet Monster Letter Recognition Matching Game! The quality is fantastic — the pieces are sturdy, colorful, and made to last through lots of hands-on play. My students are instantly drawn to the bright colors and the silly “monster” theme, which makes letter recognition so much more engaging. The game is perfect for helping children practice matching letters, identifying sounds, and building early literacy skills in a fun, interactive way. It’s durable enough for classroom use and easy to clean and store, which is a big plus for teachers.Overall, this is a wonderful educational toy that combines learning with play. My students love it, and I love seeing how much progress they make while having fun!
The monster does not stay open which is annoying. It keeps falling over. Also, the teeth which move up and down with a tab, don't really work. The cutouts are numerous, strong and clearly printed.
My students love this game. Helps with letter recognition and more.
Fun engaging different learning games
Age range - 3-6Can be used to identify colors, shapes and letters and corresponding soundsStudents live “feeding” the hungry monster
I bought this for use in a special education classroom. My class has been really enjoying it. Even the kids who are at a level beyond these activities, of which there are many, want to play it because they find it so fun. The educational value is definitely worth it for the price. The quality is great too, as it is difficult for the kids to rip. It was also incredibly easy to set up.

You can find uppercase and lowercase Candy cards and Munch cards. You can match the Candy and Munch cards, pairing uppercase Munch with uppercase Candy, lowercase Munch with lowercase Candy, and uppercase Munch with lowercase Candy.
When we find the Munch cards with rhyming words, we can encourage children to associate them with another rhyming word. We can also have children find the Candy cards in the resource pack that match the rhyming words. For example, if the little monster requests to find words related to small animals and finds an ant Munch card, then we can simulate the little monster eating while making sounds, saying 'mant, mant, mant.
The little monster includes two types of chewing cards with different shapes. The first type is the chewing card with shapes. We can let the little monster eat this chewing card. Can you feed it to me based on the duplicate prompt? Then our children will find the corresponding shape candy card and match it. We can also find all the shape candy cards and Munch cards for the children to count.
We can also find the colorful Munch cards that have been eaten by the little monster. This process of matching colored candy cards with the children is a very interesting way for them to learn about colors.
