08-03-2026I recently purchased this cooling unit with the intention of cooling a very small room, but unfortunately, it has not met my expectations. Despite following the instructions and using the provided ice packs, the cooling effect has been minimal. Even with the ice packs completely frozen and placed in the compartment, I found that the fan only provides a slight breeze with very little change in temperature. Instead of creating a refreshing coolness, it seems to circulate warm air, which is disappointing, especially during hot days. The design is compact and easy to set up, making it a good choice for small spaces, but the actual cooling performance leaves much to be desired. I was hoping for a noticeable drop in temperature, but sadly, that hasn’t been the case. Overall, I would not recommend this product if you are looking for effective cooling. It may work better in conjunction with other cooling methods, but as a standalone unit, it falls short of its promises.

08-03-2026Used the fan as a cooling fan. Put an ice pack in with water per instrucions. It DID cool the large room by about 4 degrees. BUT, when the room is warm (76°+) the ice pack melts quickly - within an hour. So this meant having to replace the ice pack every hour. It includes 3 icepacks, but it takes longer than 2 hours for them to re-freeze. I expect more if I am paying more than $100 for a fan. I would have given it one star, but the actual fan blows well.
