This brand has a random and questionable name, but the jackets are top-notch. Quality, warmth, fit and design... I’m going to get one for me next winter! For reference, our family lives in Alaska.

08-03-2026I ordered this coat in a size 10/12 for my 10 year-old son. He is tall for his age but average weight and wears a 10/12 in tops so I was very surprised that this coat fit him like a glove with zero room to spare. The shoulders in particular were tight and the coat rode up when he raised his arms. Except for the sizing issue, this is a fabulous coat so I immediately went back and ordered it in a 14/16 (not yet arrived). He has never worn a 14/16 in anything before, as he is only 10, but maybe this coat runs small because of the padding. It is definitely heavier than I was expecting and would withstand winters much worse than what we have here in the Bay Area. My son loved the cozy lining and hood and the little "thumbhole" half-gloves that are part of the sleeves. He can't wait to receive the bigger size.

08-03-2026I bought this for my grandson and he looked at the picture on line and said he thought it would be cool. When it arrived, he tried it on and said it was perfect!!! He wore it outside to clean the snow off the sidewalk and said that he was really warm and he especially liked the thumb holes for putting his gloves on. I will definitely buy from this company again.

08-03-2026UPDATE: 2 years later have still been SO pleased with this jacket!!! Warm and versatile and easy to clean. Works great as a kid's ski jacket. We purchased a new one in a larger size.My son loves the neon green color (go figure but at least I can spot him It's well made, warm, and waterproof!My son also loves the detachable zippered hood that is spacious and has velcro to create a mask near the mouth area.Zippered side pockets and an upper pocket - great for IDs and ski cards.The sleeves has a extended fabric wrist which is a nice touch to keep out the wind. Not sure if these are the 'gloves' others mentioned in reviews but didn't have the thumb notch or finger covers.Only wishes are that the inner lining was detachable to create a light jacket and that there was a thumb hole. That would make a truly versatile coat but this is overall a great coat and with the lightening deal ($58) felt like a decent deal and more substantial coat than the usual $20 puffy jackets that are lighter.Haven't yet tried for skiing but can't wait to see how it does and can update more after we do!My ten year old son is on the smaller side 52 inches tall and 56 pounds.Size 8 was on the bigger side but works well with room to grow into it!Really happy with this purchase!
