08-03-2026I bought these to wear with shorts for some extra protection for my legs while using my weed wacker. After giving them a couple of tries, I noticed a bit of a rash on the areas covered by the leg guards. It seems like the lack of airflow led to a little heat rash, which wasn’t the best look! Still, they did a great job overall!

08-03-2026Bought these to do the decent route of the Subashiri trail on Mt Fuji. It’s four plus miles of 5-6 inch deep pumis scree. These gaiters worked well. They stayed on my leg where they were supposed to wearing shorts and never aloud any rock or pebbles into my shoes. Looked as good as new after a turn in the washing machine. After this trip I can’t imagine any trail that would cause them to fail.

08-03-2026I would have preferred nylon Velcro straps to the hard plastic ones. Very hot on leg, I need a way to vent the heat. It feels great to take them off, and feels great not to get stung by Texas nettles

08-03-2026Leggings are well designed except for the under-shoe strap - it is made of plastic. I haven't broken it but, I suspect it will fail over a relatively short time walking on ice chunks or pavement.
