Pretty solid starter dumbbell set for beginners. If the price were higher I might give it 4 stars but it's SO CHEAP that I can definitely overlook some imperfection. If you are just starting out, this is a well-built set that comes with enough weight to keep you busy, and since it uses standard 1-inch plates, it's very cheap to add more weight in the future. In fact, I might buy an entire second set so I can always have multiple dumbbells/bars preconfigured before I start my workout. Having the bar attachment is a definitely a plus too.In normal use, it works really well. The following are my only "gripes":- The locking nuts on the sides seem to slowly loosen over time. This was never an issue when using it, but I noticed that if I roll.the dumbbells out of the way for a different exercise and then pick them up again, I need to make sure they are still tight.- When using it as a barbell, the bar CAN just be screwed into each dumbell with the weights already on, but then you may have some plates in the way of your arms. If you have a super wide built and hold the bar by the dumbell handles, it might be fine, but with an average build it seems just a bit wide. The barbell being narrower by a few inches would help, but if you have that problem, you need to basically remove the weights from the inside of the bar and put them all on the outside. That just makes the conversion take a bit more time but it's much more like a traditional barbell that way.This is not really a gripe, but more of a note. The weights are spot on, but the weights of the handles and barbell attachment are different. The handles are 4lbs each and the barbell attachment is 2lbs.

These dumbbells are a great addition to my home gym. The weight plates feel sturdy and the star lock collars keep everything secure once tightened. I like that I can easily adjust the weight for different exercises, which makes them super versatile without taking up much space. The handles have a nice grip, though they can get a bit rough on the hands if you don’t wear gloves. Also, swapping plates isn’t the fastest process, but that’s expected with this style. Overall, really good quality for the price and perfect if you’re short on space but still want a solid workout option.

Box came intact, no smell and all pieces inside. Grips are a bit rough but not to the point of discomfort, the point of knurling is for grip. Purchased during black Friday and got them for less than a dollar a pound so overall a great value. Not the fastest to change weights but that should be understood since they're threaded ends and not clip on.

Love these weights! Easily adjustable to whatever weight you need. The area where you hold onto it feels a little rough in my hands, but since using the weight training gloves, it’s no longer a problem. These weights seem really well made and I think they will last a long time. Great value too!

Unas mancuernas muy buenas en verdad me sorprendieron mucho la calidad de estas creía que Hiba a Aser menos sorprendentes, Pero la calidad se siente bien, el agarre de las barras es de estilo diamante así que se siente bien pero en ejercicios que tienen mucho peso se te inscrustan en la mano que eso se arregla con un guante de ejercicio Pero tiene que tener en cuenta ese gasto adicional si le metes mucho peso, la barra de unirlos se sienten bien todo es De metal, he notado que la barra de las mancuernas pesan como unas 2LB porque se siente ese peso bastante parecido al disco de 3LB un poco menor así que en realidad son más Pero o Almenos eso pensaba primero Pero luegooo ví bien el peso de los discos y en total son 37 Libras osea no te dan 40LB en discos te dan 37 libras y esas 3 libras faltantes te las dan en el equipamiento en lo demás pero no les puedo dar pesos exactos de cada cosa porque no tengo una Cosa esa de pesarse Pero quitando eso se sienten bien todo está perfecto pero no te dan 40LB en discos te dan un poco menos Pero todo está bien y en mi caso veo que solamente una tuerca de aguantar los discos queda suelta osea si lo mueves se tambalea y si lo pones poca abajo y rotas las mancuernas se jira la tuerca y se podría llegar a salir pero lo único que tienes que hacer es apretarlos bien y ya Pero todo está perfecto y si vives como yo en un sitio que no es un estado de estados unidos pues te va a llegar un poco gastatos los discos por el viaje y eso lo entiendo pero no afecta su funcionamiento. En resumen lo recomiendo, es una buena compra y por el precio que pague que fueron 69 dólares con taxes estuvo bastante bien solamente ten en cuenta el guante si haces Repeticiones con mucho peso

se me entrego en un tiempo mucho antes de lo previsto por el vendedor, el material se siente y se ve de buena calidad, el único detalle que se percibe es que con el movimiento se puede desajustar la rosca pero es muy esporádico con estar atento a esto ya con eso y no afecta su desempeño

In stock purchased to delivered; it took around 3 weeks.I bought 2 sets of this but it's really 42lb plates + 42lbs plates. On one side of the handle, this can fit three 7.5lbs plates or four 3lbs plates. Because the width of the 7.5lbs plates is around 2.7cm and the 3lbs plates are around 2cm. And the width of the star lock collars is about 3cm.The weights are not perfectly accurate, it's off by a few grams or ounce. For the 7.5lbs plates, I get around 7.1lbs-7.3lbs and only one 7.6lbs. That's between the two sets I bought. And for the 3lbs plates, it's a little better ranging from 2.9lbs-3lbs. Handles and collars combined are around 4lbs. So as you guess, I'm a little disappointed in the 7.5lbs plates.Also, I received one collar with a defective custom screw that would not screw all the way in because it would get stuck, maybe the thread inserts are too small. I also noticed that the custom screw does not lock the collar indefinitely in place, it can still spin. But it does stop the wobbly collar from wobbling.About the weight plate surface, it is not perfectly molded. Bubble airs can still be seen. This means it is not a smooth clean rounded plate as compared to clear ice.The handles have diamond-shaped grips. It feels pretty sharp holding into the skin. It might be awhile getting used to it. Gym gloves are an option.But overall, it seems like a nice solid standard adjustable dumbbell set to work out with. And a nice price for this time of the year.
