DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP. I depend on customer reviews so I carefully researched laptops before ordering. I had this laptop for one week and noticed that the power cord box got very hot. Also, the bottom of the laptop would get unusually warm. One day I left the charger plugged in with the laptop closed. When I opened it, the power would not come on. I unplugged it, kept trying and it eventually came on once cool. I called HP for support and after telling them I had 16 GB RAM, they looked at the upgrades made by the seller and VOIDED MY WARRANTY! Here's the quote from the transcript: "The computer was originally manufactured with hardware that matched the requirement of this computer, however when I see your computer specifications now, it looks like it has been upgraded by seller beyond its holding capacity and unfortunately this has voided the manufacturing warranty on this computer and due to that we will not be able to provide any support from our end. There is a good chance that the problem that you are facing now could be possible because of these changes made." So now I have to wipe the computer and return it with the prepaid label they are sending. Amazon is refunding the extra protection policy I purchased. In addition, HP stated that I had 336 days left on my warranty even though I only had the computer for 7 days. Evidently, the seller must purchase them to upgrade and then resells them - creating the gap in the time expired from warranty duration. One more tip, HP agent said I could get a copy of the transcript after I close the chat... but don't close it yet, there's another button to push for transcript first before closing the chat. This has been a totally frustrating experience and the seller should not upgrade unless more RAM is purchased. BUYER BEWARE!UPDATE: Returned laptop and got a notice about the refund and was glad until I saw the amount was over $130 LESS than what I paid. After contacting Amazon, they said the seller charged a restocking fee! I explained the entire situation and they reached out to the seller. The seller's reply: "In accordance with Amazon policies, we typically charge a restocking fee for used items or those damaged by customers. After reviewing your return reason, we have decided to trust your explanation and issue a full refund." The refund is labeled "Goodwill Refund". It is still about $8. short. I'm tired of fighting this battle. Where is the accountability for creating this problem? I have since purchased a new laptop through Microcenter and have purchased their Priority Plus plan which is worth its weight in gold. I can call up at anytime and they will remotely address any issues on my laptop.
I’m a tech challenged 80 year old with a fear of “breaking” my computer. This laptop was so easy to set up and start using, I did it myself without any help. I’m amazed at the battery life and the ease of use. Keyboard is very user friendly. Keys more the size of a regular keyboard. Touch screen is amazing, and I can also hook up a mouse to facilitate drag and drop. The color is brilliant, and it is perfect for what I need!
Works great! I find it somewhat difficult becoming accustomed to Windows 11, but the computer responds with lightning speed!
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. The laptop is great for my purposes. Unfortunately, by no fault of the seller, the Keyboard driver failed two a few weeks after I got it. It could not be recovered using the Windows or HP tools, so I had to reload the OS. In doing that, I got the keyboard back but I seem to have lost my access to the non-subscription version of Office that came with the laptop. Thats very disappointing but again, no fault of the seller.
I bought this HP 15.6" Business Laptop after years of relying on a company computer, and it’s been a game-changer. Setup was quick, the HD touchscreen is smooth, and having Microsoft Office 2024 with a lifetime license means I can get straight to work without extra costs. Copilot AI has been surprisingly useful for drafting content and organizing tasks, which helps me focus on building additional income streams. Performance is fast, multitasking is seamless, and the design is lightweight yet solid. For anyone needing a reliable personal laptop that supports both productivity and growth, this is an excellent choice.
This is the second one in our family and we are very sarisfied with its performance and price
I purchased this for my niece who was going to go to college unfortunately, she dropped out after one day… that being said, works perfect for her video games
I got this as a replacement laptop for my mother who needed better speed and wifi connection. This was the perfect size for her. Lightweight and fits on her desk with ease. My mother is not the most computer literate but has no issues at all using this as it is. Breeze to use. The screen is perfect size for her and is easy to read. She has had no connection issues with WiFi dropping at all since she began using this laptop. She will take it around the house all day and th battery stays long and strong for her. She is able to go Mobile and remote and still be good to work.Great specs. Great speed. Lots of memory. This was a great value for the price.
