08-03-2026This coat is EXACTLY what we needed for my nine year old. She’s gigantic, but also still a kid who loves to play hard in the snow. It’s been tough finding a size-appropriate jacket that has the features we need in a color she loves. Then, we found this.First: she loves the color. No plain black coats for her, and no print that is close-but-not-her-style. She also loves the faux-fur lined hood.This is a longer coat, so it keeps her legs and booty warm almost down to her knees. The hood is floofy enough to flip up at the bust stop or layer over top of a winter hat for extended snow romping. The hood also zips off if needed. The fabric is soft but water resistant and abrasion-resistant, so it stands up to helping adults shovel and doing snow angels. The sleeves have double cuffs for tucking in gloves and keeping wind and snow out. The pockets are generous so you don’t lose big gloves, or to keep hand warmers at the ready. The especially great bit, as far as my nine year old is concerned, is that there is a two-way zipper, so she can unzip upwards to give herself more range of motion but keep her top half cozy.The sizing is generous enough that we’ll probably get this winter AND next winter out of the coat, even if she is growing like a weed. This is a great choice!

08-03-2026This is a really nice quality jacket. The material is thick and feels nice. It's not super bulky but it is pretty long. It fits true to size. It looks like a higher end jacket. For the price, it's a great deal on a nice jacket that is sure to keep your child warm.

08-03-2026This size 8 coat was just a bit oversized for my 7 year old, meaning she can't wear it this year but will be able to next year, which will be perfect. It was quite long, which I like, but my daughter will have to get used to. It's well made and the material seems thick and sufficiently waterproof and warm! The blue color and faux fur hood are pretty. Highly Recommend!
