The fabric is soft and comfy. Unfortunately these pants do not have pockets but for play, sports and lounging around that house that is fine.The elastic waistband makes it very easy to put them on, especially if the child is still small. They do seem to run small so order a size bigger or they may grow out of them pretty quick. They are great for every day use and a good value for the money.

They fit him great, so definitely consider sizing up as others suggested. Other than that, they're great pants. Super comfortable for him to run and play and even sleep in!
