I've always wanted to try a Pixel tablet as I've been a fan of the Pixel phone for years, and this was a good opportunity to do so.As expected, the Pixel tablet integrates seamlessly with the Pixel phone - I presently use a Pixel 10 XL Pro. One of the cool things about this pair as it seems to be adaptive and become smarter with increased use. For example, when I first started using it I had duplicate notifications - one on the phone and the other on the tablet. Within a week, Gemini AI adapted with a solution that dismisses a notification on both devices if it's dismissed on one. This is only one example as there have been many instances of increased efficiency through device initiated adaptation. The size and weight are perfect as the device feels comfortable during use. The tablet speed is responsive, smooth, and quick. Picture quality is excellent, although I do notice that when streaming the screen is a bit darker than my other devices - Pixel phone and PC, but this may just require a brightness adjustment, although it's plenty bright across all other use scenarios. The touch screen works perfectly - both accurate and quick.Overall this is a top tier device at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
Better than an Ipad if you're used to Android and Google phones, I would strongly suggest you stick with Android and get the this Pixel Tablet. It simply works. None of the apple i-tunes games and needing multiple apple devices for security when all you have is your Android phone. I suffered with the iPad for almost a year and I just couldn't do it any longer and I bought the Pixel Tablet. It is lighter weight, thinner profile, and the response times are very quick. Super speed, very responsive. At first it doesn't feel as substantial as the iPad and it isn't as heavy but after using it now for over a month I can honestly say it is quite durable. I love the functionality, ease of use and sharing apps and data in the Google/Android environment.
This is the second one of these tablets I have bought for my kids. I used to buy them the Samsung Galaxy tablets every few years, but then these Pixel tablets came out. It's so much nicer without all of Samsung's software and interface to sift through. Being pure Android, it gets straight to business without any fuss. They are a great value, compared to the other tablets, when you consider how long the battery lasts and how fast the tablet is. All the kids do is play games on them and they do that very well. They have a lot of fun on them. The storage capacity is fine, pictures are stored in the cloud anyway. Durability is great considering how many times they have been dropped and stepped on yet still work fine. I hope Google keeps making Pixel tablets in the future, I will buy more of them as the old Galaxy tabs wear out.
Mostly okay, it does lag a little bit every now and then.
Possibly the best ever purchase I have ever made. With the dock the tablet unleashed unlimited possibilities of fun and learning.
I find the Google Pixel tablet offers a commendable charging speaker with good audio quality when docked and a long lasting battery that performs well. I rate it at four stars, as it excels overall, with all features including value for money, weight, picture quality, touch screen, and screen size considered great by me. Other customers may appreciate the integrated speaker, reliable battery, and well rounded functionality.
Me encantó.
A truely underrated personal device, by everyone. I've never used it as home smart hub. I don't use a phone and only use the Pixel Tablet, giving me plenty of experience with it.This my experience:Cons:- the display is not incredibly bright while outdoors, but definitely usable.- the display has a bit of glare. I use it as a mirror sometimes with the screen off, but it's not a distraction when the device is actually in use.- the cameras cannot zoom in or out, they're "fixed focus." quite awful. But the selfie camera is okay for video calls.- the camera is near worthless for scanning textual documents, and does not suffice for scanning QR codes that are small or high density- the camera night mode is as scary as a game of Slender Man when you're looking at the antagonist. it's hardly better than an old T.V. reading fuzzy gray static. Might as well carry a flashlight, camera, or phone.Despite what I say about the camera, I still use it for taking pictures of documents, it's tolerable but can be blurry when you look close.Pros:- the battery holds a long charge. it's never been a concern for me outside- the display is great, very sharp images, no noticeable latency when I tap it. easy to clean with a microfibre cloth- the device is thin and light- the system is fast- has never gotten hot- cools off quickly after warming up- Has a great display. it's large, very sharp, has vivid colors. I can't see the individual pixels- the audio quality is good- the microphone picks up my voice well- images are saved quickly, apps load quickly, everything is smooth and low latency- the device has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of disk storage, which is more than enough for me- the hardware is supported by GrapheneOSEcosystem problems/concerns:- Very disappointed that there are no keyboards for the Pixel Tablet that connect to the pins. Bluetooth keyboards are always hit and miss when it comes to latency and connectivitySuggestions to Google:- Make the camera variable-focus. 8MP is okay, but fixed-focus is the flaw.- Introduce a keyboard that uses the pins. Lenovo does a good job in this regard for their own devices.- Disperse the heat better. It builds up in one particular spot under the camera.
