This is the coolest little cooler! I absolutely love it! I wish I would have bought a second one when they were on sale. Easy to use, the remote makes it convenient. I was surprised at how long the ice lasted. I live near the Rocky Mountains, where swamp coolers do there best!! This was a mini portable one that added a whole new level to comfort. I love that it can be plugged in at the house or taken camping and it doesn't kill the battery or require the generator. Easily handles 450 SFT. Great if you are looking for a cooler for the upstairs room where the heat travels or camping in tent trailer.
It's okay. I thought if it doesn't cool at least I can use it as a fan, nope, not really the fan isn't that strong. It's more for a personal sit beside you cooling unit. It works by filling it with cold or ice water and it blows a mist of cold water/air. It's not enough to cool a room by any means and it's totally useless on humid days, which they tell you that it won't have the evaporative cooling effect when humidity is high. It feels very cheaply made, but it works. I think that it's overpriced for what it is, but I bought it anyway hoping to help me battle the heat in August in an vehicle without air conditioning. It's didn't lower the temperature, but my leg got wet because it was sitting on the floor next to my leg. I have to say that my dogs love it. If I sit it on the floor they will lay beside it and yeah, try to lick the condensation off the louvers .
I live in South Florida and we are getting ready for the summer months. It is already in the upper '90s and only getting hotter.I purchased this in order to help cool down my son's room that used to be a garage that has now been enclosed in order to become a bedroom.Unfortunately his room gets all of the afternoon sun and even with the central A/C set at 75° his room stays at 80°.This portable air conditioner has been easy to use and works like a charm! It has allowed my son's room to be more enjoyable to be in and the temperature isn't as hot anymore thank goodness.I highly recommend this item if you're looking for something to help cool down an area.
I wanted so badly to be able to keep this, but it did not serve the purpose I had anticipated. The product works just fine and did give out a nice, cool mist of air, so I can see where it would be useful in certain situations, but I had wanted a unit that did not need to be plugged in (for use during power outages) and worked off battery power. After receiving the item, I discovered that this does, in fact need to be plugged in while in use, so sadly I am returning the item. I suppose I could have used it off a battery backup, but I am keeping those for cell service which would be more imperative during an outage imo.
I definitely did not think it would even give me cool air but I was wrong. I actually bought a $60 Rechargeable portable AC at the same time and tested them both out and wouldn't you believe it! This one which is only $40 worked waaayy better than the $60 rechargeable ♀️♀️ And it says if you'd like it even cooler to add ice cubes to the water mix but I tried both ways and they both work I love this little machine, cute lights and even comes with a remote so my lazy self doesn't have to get up and adjust the speed or light color. It's very quiet and light so very easy to move from corner to corner. Such a cute size but mighty powerful! Lol Finally since I'm a ditz when it comes to these gadgets, it's very easy to use and start up. You just fill the top with ice cold water and press the button to a cooler you!!!
I have black out curtains in my son's room, as well as mine. We don't have a central ac until that works, we never do. I thought these would actually work to help cool down the two rooms...it doesn't. It's noisy and barely does anything for the heat. We follow instructions. Fill it with water and ice for cold air, but it barely blows. I researched most of the products, that were affordable, and found the most positive on this model. But, it honestly doesn't make a difference. I feel like I am absolutely wasting my money on something that doesn't work. I work in the heat all day, every day. I'd like it to be at keast cool in my room to some extent and it's not. And I think my son's ac works better than mine. It doesn't even blow cold air. It's a small room and we have fans. But it's still too hot. I'm honestly not at all happy with my purchase. And I'm hot so that and being aggravated just makes me angry. I wouldn't buy it unless it's for a desk and you also have ac and a fan. Then maybe it will cool. Kinda pissed about the cost.
The little cooling fan that actually works great. My home office has 4 monitors and gets warm fast. I plugged this fan in, filled it with water and some ice and it cooled the room quickly. I’d recommend adding ice to help it out. I use the low speed on the fan and it’s very quiet. I use the higher misting level. I bought this one because it has a larger reservoir which seems to last for hours. Easy to move around to a bedroom at night. Great cooling fan at a very reasonable price.
Great buy if you have a more powerful fan to place in front of it. Creates quite a bit of condensation. The bottom collects most of the condensation but a bit comes out the fan. It’s a special cord for plug in so don’t lose it. Does pretty good cooling in a direct path but not great for open spaces. We use it on our boat and it helps with the heat when put behind another fan.
