I got all 4 removed, and while the procedure was smooth, the aftercare was somewhat difficult to manage, especially while on pain medication. This product made it so much easier to ice my face 20min on / 20min off for 4 days straight. If I didn't have this, I don't think I wouldve been icing my face nearly as often as I should have been.I'll also say that while yes they do need a few hours to become frozen solid, you absolutely do not need them to be completely frozen in order to use them. I find a good 40-60mins in the freezer is more than enough to get the packs cold enough. If you use them completely frozen, I'd suggest kneading the packs a bit to make them curve better on your face. They'll also be very cold on your skin if you use them like this, so adding a towel might be best.As for the warming function, I kept the packs out of the freezer overnight to bring them up to room temp, then microwaved both packs twice for 10 second intervals, kneading the gel between microwaving sessions. I haven't had any issues with the packs exploding in the microwave or anything.All in all, excellent product, worked very well for me and made my recovery a million times easier. I would highly recommend getting this. Even if it seems like you could craft something like this at home, i guarantee you a stiff plastic ice pack will be very unpleasant on your face post-surgery. It's best to try to minimize whatever thinking or work you'll have to do after surgery so you can focus on recovery.

Purchased this for my son, when he had 4 wisdom teeth removed.It Was exactly what he needed. Hit all 4 spots at once, stayed in place. Helped numb his face & kept the swelling down. Total life saver!My son was able to wear this, watch tv & eat his jello. Keeping him as happy as possible.• I started by freezing ice packs on their own• Used it so often, I started to freeze it as a whole ‍♀️ I’m sure this was the intended way• Can also be gently warmed, if heat is what is needed• It is adjustable. This particular one would most likely fit teenagers-adults• Price is so cheap, excellent value for your money would have been foolish not to purchase.• Feels sturdy, high quality, no issues.• As far as ice packs go this one is adorable, multiple pictures were taken.•When I purchased, it came in blue or black.Highly recommend

If you’re going to have any kind of jaw related or wisdom tooth surgery I think this is a must have. The cold packs stay cold for a long time. It comes with two sets of them so you basically never have to worry about not having cold ones to swap out. They helped me a lot personally with pain relief for wisdom teeth. The size was just right for me as an early 20s average sized woman. The Velcro is very strong and can be stuck and unstuck a lot. The whole thing is pretty flexible and can be put on in a variety of ways. The cold packs themselves are pretty thick too.

Great way to soothe a sore jaw and reduce inflammation after oral surgery. It’s quite large, so someone with a small face may have to tweak the fit a bit. The ice packs don’t seem to stay cold for as long as some other ice packs, but since it comes with extra packs, you can simply rotate them out as needed. Super easy to use and the ear holes are a plus. Recommend purchasing this before you have your oral surgery, that way it is ice cold and ready to go when you are needing it.

It conforms well to the shape of the face and secures at the top of the head, allowing for an adjustable fit that can be worn loosely or snugly.One feature I particularly appreciated is that it comes with four freezer packs, which makes it easy to rotate them and have a fresh cold pack ready more often. Like most head wraps of this type, the cold doesn’t last as long as I would like, which is the main reason I rated it four stars instead of five.I also found it useful without the inserts to gently compress my head and neck during the night, which helped relieve discomfort. While I haven’t yet tried using it as a heat pack, I appreciate that the option is available.Overall, I would definitely purchase this again and recommend it to others, especially for post surgical recovery or headache relief.

Technically does what it says. The material of the hear piece is good quality and the ear holes are nice. Genuinely helpful and convenient in some ways. Unfortunately the actual ice packs are an embarrassment. They melt in 10 minutes and take hours to re-freeze. You'd need to buy 2-4 extra decent ice packs to make this purchase worthwhile, so I can't say it's worth the price.

This was perfect for my teenage son after wisdom teeth extractions. Stayed cold for a long time and had a back up set of ice packs ready to switch out every hour which helped keep the swelling down for the first couple of days. Comfortably fit my sons large head and allowed for a headset for listening to music and playing Xbox.

I had a major oral surgery and this provided excellent coverage for hot and cold. Worked out VERY well for me. As you can see in the picture, it was versatile and wide enough for me to adjust it for coverage in the front and sides where I needed it. Of course you can adjust it lower like the pics from the seller, but this worked well to provide me some pain relief, and it doesn't weigh much, so I was able to resr comfortably.
