08-03-2026This is a quality, 8-carrier braid with a slick coating. It is stronger than advertised. This product is supposed to compete with products like PowerPro SuperSlick v2. The price fluctuates a LOT on Amazon, but I've seen it for 1/4 of the MSRP at times on Amazon, so check the different colors and strengths for extra value.

08-03-2026Product description is misleading. The description shows you are ordering 3500 yards of line and the photo of the label doesn’t show how many yards are in the spool. Didn’t notice when it was added to the cart that it says 3000 yards and of course that is what is on the label when you receive the product. No way to resolve the issue without having to call Amazon customer service. The phone number Amazon provides to contact Berkley you find out is only for warranty issues. Berkley will tell you they just sell their product to Amazon and you will have to take up the issue without having them.

08-03-2026I fish for Bass in freshwater. Don't let the saltwater branding fool you. You can use it anywhere. Smooth and strange. Feels soft on my fingers not stiff. Compare to Jbraid x8.

08-03-2026This was an amazing deal for a name brand braid. I go through a lot of line in saltwater and have tried some off brands with limited success. They seem to put different colors on sale and as long as you want the color that is on sale you're golden.

08-03-2026I bought four of the ProSpec lines when they were on sale. The 20 lb, 30 lb, 50 lb and 80 lb are all excellent lines. The only issue was that they send 3000 yards of the 80, instead of 3500 yards. For the discounted price, I can live with it.
