08-03-2026I noticed the Amazon note that these belts were frequently returned "due to disliking fabric and tight fit" and I thought oh! oh. So I opened the package with some trepidation but I was pleasantly surprised.I honestly don't understand why these belts are being returned. Besides coming in three different lengths, they are also very stretchy and they don't require any pre-punched holes. So these belts should fit almost anyone. The product description says that these belts are made of environmentally friendly straw, but I am not convinced that this "straw" comes from natural sources and the buckle is clearly made of plastic. However, all the belts have a natural look to them. They also seem to be well-made and I think these three belts will last a very long time.

08-03-2026The loop holder on my cream and black belts had reddish-brown stain marks, which appeared to have come from the back side of the round buckles. I would have kept the set if only one belt was damaged, but not 2 out of 3.

08-03-2026These are fantastic! Especially because I was only looking for one color and I got 3. The material seems like a mix of spandex/rafia, plastic buckles (not resin), and plastic loops. For sure they're a bit on the cheap side, but they look great when you're wearing them, they do the job, and they're not so cheap that they'll fall apart tomorrow. These aren't really belts that are going to be worn daily and therefore take a beating. Eventually the spandex will get worn out from constant holes being poked in it, but I still see at least a couple years worth of wears with these belts. Also, I've read that some people say they find it easy to lose the loops that keep the belt end in place when it's not being worn. To prevent this, I push the loop around the end that's near the buckle side to secure it before I hang up the belt (as seen in the brown belt vs the white and black belts in the pics).10/10 would recommend!For reference, I'm a size 6 and you can see how much extra I have to tuck in at the end. I can gain a little weight and these will stretch with me.
