I'd say I'm more savvy than the average person when it comes to applying screen protectors (and on a similar vein to screen protectors device skins like dbrand). I've put on a lot of them on strange devices with curved screens, rounded corners, large surface areas (where you have to get it spot on or it'll overhang), etc. Let me tell you to not even bother with this...The actual screen protector doesn't look like the product images. It arrives flat and as a result, it has cut-out/notches to help with trying to adhere to a curved surface (think origami). It won't fully cover every inch of the front glass. And now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against having some notches since the Apple Vision Pro is a weirdly shaped device, just show it on the product images. The thing they don't mention anywhere is that this uses a wet-apply technique - meaning you have to use a spray bottle with soapy water when you are applying it. I've done it before but it's not for the faint of heart especially when you're handling water with a 3.5k devices. For those not in-the-know, for a wet apply screen protector you have to spritz a very light amount of soapy water solution (not included) on the screen protector (not the device) and then some on your hands (so the screen protector won't stick to your fingers). And the idea is you have multiple tries to get the alignment right and it gives you a working-time (similar to working with resin or epoxy) while the soapy water evaporates. I tried applying this screen protector for 1.5 hours and it wouldn't align properly nor would the soapy water evaporate at a similar rate to those devices I've done a wet-apply before. My hypothesis is that since it's a very curved screen, the soapy water kept "pooling" at the center because of surface tension leading it to never sticking at the center making it impossible position correctly (unless you had like 6 hands holding the different ends of the screen protector down while drying).Don't waste your time or risk your device trying go get this on...
Installing this screen protector on my Apple Vision Pro was surprisingly smooth. Right out of the package, the film felt lightweight but flexible—definitely not one of those rigid, frustrating protectors. It lined up perfectly with the curved surface and didn’t leave any bubbles, which is rare unless you’re really careful. I used a microfiber cloth beforehand, and that helped it settle cleanly. The clarity is excellent. Once it’s on, you almost forget it’s there. It doesn’t mess with the visuals or responsiveness at all, and the gesture tracking works just as well as before. What I really appreciated was how it covers the full front surface, wrapping slightly over the edges for more complete protection. It’s not a thick shield, so it’s more for scratch resistance and smudge protection than for any drop impact.Compared to other screen films I’ve tried on devices, this one actually stays in place without peeling up after a few days. For the price, I was hoping it would last—and so far, it’s held up well after a couple weeks of daily use, including frequent on/off handling of the headset. My only gripe is that it’s a single pack—no backup protector included. For something that relies on careful installation, having a second shot would’ve been helpful. But as a basic layer of defense, especially for a high-end device like the Vision Pro, it’s definitely worth grabbing.Pros:– Super clear and doesn’t interfere with display– Flexible TPU curves perfectly around the surface– Easy to apply, no bubbles– Great for fingerprints and light scratch protectionCons:– Not designed for impact– Only comes with one pieceIf you just want to protect the front of your Vision Pro from everyday wear without messing up the look or performance, this is a smart buy. Great for careful users who value clean visuals and want to avoid scuffs or smudges without dealing with bulk or complexity.
