08-03-2026My husband wears these in size XL (sometimes a 2X when he wants a loose fit). I liked the fabric so much I decided to try a smaller size for myself. I'm female, so this review addresses how they fit on a relatively athletic but older woman. I have been buying the short-sleeved tees with interesting and/or humorous designs in size Large, and then tried the plain long-sleeved tee in the Large in the same nice soft fabric blend. I discovered that the long-sleeved version fit differently, so decided to save those for when I wear layers underneath and buy the Medium for a better fit. When it arrived, it was perfect, very soft, and not too snug across the chest/bust, and a bit loose at the hips, so I could wear it either tucked in or not. When I decided to buy one in navy instead of my usual black, I thought I was buying the identical style of Medium again this time. I ordered the non-branded set of one black tee and one navy. Unfortunately, I ended up with two thin and not nearly so soft tees that have the AM logo on the left upper chest. It turns out that these are "fishing shirts", and the others were "casual work shirts". These fit snugly across my chest. I measure 36.5" under the bust and 42.5" across the bust, with the sort of "profile" some women get with a minimizer bra. I generally wear light sport bras or organic cotton pullover bras. The bottom part of the tee just skims my hips, BTW, as I'm not bottom heavy. I'm going to use these as an undershirt or to add sleeves to a short sleeved or sleeveless top. Bottom line: Women can wear these if they are happier with a more unisex fit. If they have a pronounced chest profile or a pear-shape waist/hip area, however, they would probably be better off with a tee designed specifically for women. In any event, read the description of the item carefully, to make sure you are getting the exact fabrics and cuts that best suits your needs.

08-03-2026I'm 5'6", 158 lbs, around 18-20% body fat, and size M fits me well. I struggle to find long sleeve tees that fit my body. Either S is a bit too snug, or M is a bit too loose, but this tee fits snug on the arms and upper chest/back area while having a normal fit in the midsection. Happy with my purchase

08-03-2026My boyfriend is very broad backed and muscular and these shirts always fit him so well around the arms length and not super baggy in stomach. They may shrink a small bit but not a lot and over time hold up really well
