These are lightweight, and I don't consider them "sweatpants".Washability: They wash well; no fading, pilling or shrinkage.Waist: There is a drawstring that could be removed if you don't want/use it.Length: I have to wear them high up due to postoperative issues, but if I wore them at or below my waist they would be too long. (I'm 5'5")I think they are a good value for your money.

08-03-2026SUPER COMFORTABLE. They have a drawstring, so they stay up nicely (though mine were taken out during a washer trip). The drawstrings aren't sewn in, so be careful when pulling on one side. They're pretty long and baggy at the end, but they're SUPER stretchy. The bottoms are so baggy, I've nearly tripped on the ends, so do be careful and don't run in them.
