These mini fire trucks were such a hit with my son! You get four different styles in the pack, and each one has really nice detail for being small. The metal bodies make them feel solid (not cheap plastic), and the friction motors work surprisingly well — they roll a long way when you give them a push.Perfect size for little hands, and they’re durable enough to survive the usual crashes and drops. My toddler loves lining them up and they have become a favorite of his. They’ve held up great so far, even after some rough play.Pros:• Sturdy metal build• Smooth rolling friction wheels• Good variety in the set• Great size for toddlers and preschoolers
My 3 year old grandson loves these. Nice dual activity toys. He puts them together, plays with the trucks but enjoys taking them apart just as much. He found the flyer in the box which showed a fire truck version and is already talking about those for Christmas. The drill doesn’t work right, he explained to me, but the screw driver does.
This is one of the best purchases I’ve made for my son! He’s obsessed with garbage trucks and he brings them wherever we go. The quality is wonderful and I’m definitely going to order more for his friends. Highly recommend
I have very mixed opinions about this set. On the one hand, the cab (and cab only) is made of metal alloy (die cast) on each truck. The parts that move like the ladders, move nice and easily and don’t catch on anything. The parts that turn around turn with just the proper amount of resistance and have that satisfying click to them. Each truck is different, and all have the forward friction powered front wheels which are made of rubber. On the other hand, the plastic used is on the cheaper side, the painted plastic to look like metal is overly shiny and looks super plastic-ey because of it, 3 trucks all have moving parts, but the tanker truck does not. The main problem about that, besides that it is the odd man out and lacks consistency with the rest of the set, is that it has pieces in a child’s eyes that look like maybe they should move or do something (the railings specifically) since they stick out a bit, and they don’t (move). I can see them easily snapping off and breaking. Then we have the faux pas of each truck showing a child to call “119” if needed. We teach our children as early as possible to call “911”, not “119”. The other thing is these are all written in English and American companies or toy brands will have American names on our vehicles. Since these are written in English, it would be nice to see the same pattern of an English name on them or the word “Emergency” or “Fire Truck”...something like that. These however have “Si pin” written across the top of each cab. That isn’t even the name of the manufacturer that makes / sells these. And lastly, only (as I stated before) the cab is die cast, the rest being that lower quality plastic I mentioned before. Only the front tires are made out of rubber. So you have a mix of good quality in the cabs and front tires, well thought out ideas and ergonomics in the way things move easily or with that satisfying click, lower quality to cheap plastic and paints, and plastic tires, American words but Chinese named, The encouragement to call for help in an emergency, but the wrong number - all for an exceedingly high price. The one reviewer said they were high (a week prior to my review) and they have gone up an additional $10 since. These will be fun for a while, but with such a mix of quality, one cannot be sure of how long that fun will last.
Honest reviewer here. Among all the non American brand name toys, this is among the better ones! My child loves and plays with them every day.HighsVery nice quality for the price. Details are cool and the functionality is there.LowsDrive unit breaks relatively easily. The gear seems to have broken and I hear a ratcheting noise.
My 4 year old nephew loves them. All he wants to play with is his construction toys. They seem well built and hardy enough to go through the ringer with a 4 year old. The friction motor on the toys was a bonus.
Grandsons love these. High quality for indoor or outdoor playing in dirt and rocks. Design fits good in their hands
