I don’t know why they make coats for little children that are too long that the child can’t zip it up themselves. I’ve been through several coats and found that none of them allowed the child to zip up their own coat. Coach should be made shorter for kids to be able to do this
This is a great basic coat for kids. It might be winter material is some places but not here in Canada. This is actually great for fall this time of year. This is a size 7/8 and it definitely fits true to size. The coat itself is soft and lightweight but still offers warmth. The cuffs also have a nylon feeling wrist type liner so it would keep snow and cold from coming in up the sleeves. The material itself doesn’t feel overly durable to me like our typical coats. It’s feels like it might snag or tear more easily. It’s 100% polyester. Directions say to wash in cold water and hang to dry only which I personally don’t love for kids items that tend to need frequent laundering so that’s a big negative in my book.We will get a ton of use out of this coat if it lasts but it’s not too quality by any means.
Light great coat perfect for traveling
My 11 year old son approves. Looks cute in it
I like this coat so much that I wish I had one for myself. This winter coat is light weight, but feels plush. The zipper and buttons feel durable and of high quality. There are buttons on the sides which can open slits which make it more comfortable when wearing while sitting down. This is a great feature to have for sledding and other winter play activities. I'm confident our son will look stylish and stay warm during this winter season.
--- The Good ---Puffy and fairly warmComfortable fit and easy to move around inExcellent length and cuffed wrists which are pretty important for the harsh winters where we are--- The Bad ---Feels a bit plasticy and like it could rip--- Bottom Line ---It's a comfortable jacket that looks nice, but I think the quality of the material is a bit low for price (but I'm only assuming it will rip, it hasn't yet); I've tried similarly priced jackets that looked as nice with material that felt much more durable
Great coat. Needs more insulation overall good look
Nice winter coat! Light weight but well insulated. Looks great, nice quality, warm.
I love that this coat keeps my 9 year old warm. Especially during this cold and snow season it definitely came in handy. The price was great. I recommend this coat for your child. The color pops, style is definitely a polar style.
I got this for my nephew for this upcoming winter season, and I found this a bit too large for him, despite it being in his age range. I suppose he may grow into it, but just note that these may come a bit larger than expected. The main reason why I am giving it only 4 stars is because it is a light jacket, not really suitable for very cold winter days. For this price range, I would have expected it to be a bit thicker and more insulated. With that said, the quality of the buttons is great, though the zipper is plastic, which could be improved.Overall, I can still recommend this for those who are looking for a winter jacket for their child, though just note that it may not be suitable for the coldest of winter days and is perhaps best suited for late-fall.
To begin with, the sizing is significantly larger than expected, so I’d suggest going a size down. The jacket has a quality construction and is incredibly light, though my son dislikes the fact that it lacks a lining. It's suitable for the cooler days of late autumn and early winter when the cold isn't too intense, especially for short periods outdoors. However, for prolonged snow play, it might not offer enough warmth. Considering its long, thicker design, I anticipated it to be cozier.
Does not look anything like the picture, looks very cheap and thin 0 stars
It’s not what I expected , the material is very light.
